A : After delivered to site, all piles been properly stacked at this area.
B : Then, the required pile being lifted to the small barge using mobile crane

Note: All this lifting procedure can only be done during high tide for small barge to access at the
sea shore.

Barge was equipped with four stockless 5 ton anchor and three winches
Tug boat will drive the barge in desired location for piling and then
number1,2,3,4 anchor been dropped into the sea using barge crawler crane.
Then using anchor winches, the crewmembers will set anchor number 1 & 2.
Anchor number 3 & 4 will be adjusted to the required position under surveyor
instruction and then winches brakes are set.

1. Land piling being introduced for the area that cannot access by Piling barge as per zoning plan before.
2. This method only applicable during low water tide to accommodate the piling rig to the required position

can cause disposition of the required location and also provide access route for the Piling rig.
4. Method for Land pile driving being used is hydraulic hammer and using the same PFA Spun pile.

1. Pile being driven continuously and jointed with extension pile to get set.
2. Pile jointing and splicing for extension being done using Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) to weld all
splicing joints in accordance with manufacturer specifications as per Table 4.1 below.

1. When a pile has been driven to the required set of depth and after load test has been carried out, the he
ad of the pile shall be cut off to the level specified in the drawings. The length of the reinforcing bars
projecting above this level as specified in the Drawings (Fig 5.1).
2. A diamond blade cutter with an air compressor being used to cut the line of the required marking level.
3. Remnants of the cut section would be removed by crane onto the barge for subsequent disposal off the
site.
