Important notes:

There is a non-refundable accommodation booking fee of 40 for all reservations.

All accommodation fees must be paid in full and in advance by card, bank transfer or in cash. Only
then can a reservation be made.
A minimum of 1 weeks notice (& receipt of notice confirmed by ICE) must be given to change
homestay accommodation plans and receive a refund or transfer the deposit to another
accommodation. There is no refund on other accommodation if the student changes his/her plans.
ICE works with a small number of accommodation agencies that supply Homestay & Flat share
accommodation.
For some halls of residence, North East Flat Share and Rathbone place a minimum stay of 4 weeks
is required. Stays must begin and end on Saturdays or Sundays. Cancellations received less than 4
weeks prior to arrival will incur a cancellation charge of 4 weeks. For some halls a refundable
deposit of 250 will apply (the return of the deposit can take up to 27 working days). No refund for
curtailment of stay.
