(1938, today at the Museum Nacional Reina Sofia en Madrid), in Julien Levys New York Gallery in 1939. With 6
mounted drawings on transparent-paper, which if been put on top of each other, show the complexity of the
painting. With texts by Dali and the impressive cover illustration by Dali. On the reverse side of the cover a list of
the 26 exposed works by Dali and comments on Dali's work by Picasso, Andr Breton, Stefan Zweig and others.
Very rare and genius surrealist document.

3800,Very scarce portfolio with 15 wonderful original chromolithographs by Hans Kalmsteiner. The lithographs show
views, houses, ports from the Adriatic coast. Some with titles 'Lloyddampfer Wien', 'Capodistria, Landhaus',
'Ragusa, Rektorenpalast', 'Zara, Porta Terra Ferma'. Hans Kalmsteiner (1882-1914 was a significant artist of the
Viennese Art Nouveau movement. He was famous for his poster designs and a contributor to the Wiener Werksttte
artists postcards series and pictorial broadsheets. This portfolio was designed by him for the sterreichische Adria-

1950,First edition of one of the most beautiful illustrated books of its time. The illustrations by Carl Otto Czeschka are
one of the most outstanding of the Austrian art nouveau. With eight stunning double page and 18 vignette
illustrations lithographed in black, blue, red and gilt by Czeschka, a member of the Klimt group and co-founder of
the Wiener Werksttte. He designed books, painted, and worked in metal, stained glass, jewellery and interior

1750,First and only edition. The designs are high Art Modern or Jugendstil with 140 different sujets and 235 figures. The
designs depict decorative painting, sculpture, posters, vignettes, wall-papers, ceramics, carpets, book- and paperdecoration, metal, leather, wood, glass and textile works etc. The imagery ranges from highly figurative stylized
women to the luxuriant sinews of abstracted images. The first publication made only by Klinger. On the request of
Koloman Moser he became with only 20 years of age co-designer of the 'Meggendorfer Bltter'. An almost mint
copy.

800,Wiener Werksttte Postcard no. 909. - Carl Krenek, born 1880 in Vienna was visiting the Academy of applied Art
during 1898 - 1906 and was pupil of C.O. Czeschka, Koloman Moser, Alfred Roller. He was working for the
Wiener Werksttte and made designs for textiles, postcards etc. He made also beautiful coloured woodcuts of
landscape. He died 1948 in Vienna. - Clean and unused. - Hansen, Postkarten der Wiener Werksttte no. 909 with

2450,Very rare journal on the artistical and literary movements in Vienna in the beginning of the 2oth century. Most of
the literary contributions are from one of the leading essayist of its time Peter Altenberg, others are by P. Busson,
Gustav Falke, Roda Roda, Richard Schaukal etc. The artistically contributions are by Willi Geiger, Adolf Loos and
some not so well known artists like M. Perscheid, Ernst Wagner, F. Waterbeck etc., some portraits after photographs
of Peter Altenberg, Maeterlinck etc. Each issue has a supplement with an artist monography showing some of the
works of the artist, mostly on tipped in plates. Monographies are on the following artists: Alfons Canciani, Ernst
Wagner, Tyra Kleen, Nikola Perscheid, Anton Schner, Alfred Mohrbutter, Vlaho Bukovac and Hermann Torggler.
Further supplements which are bound in are: Das Andere. Ein Blatt zur Einfhrung abendlndischer Kultur in
sterreich geschrieben von Adolf Loos. 1. Year, and four supplements for 'Das Andere' only published in this
journal, one with an easy by Paul Scheerbart, Der magnetische Spiegel, with illustrations by the author. Further on
there are two supplements 'Der Gummidruck, Bltter zur Frderung moderner Kunstphotographie' geleitet von Fr.
Krauss. Another supplement is 'Die Kilometerphotographie'. Very interesting journal with all the supplements. Missing issue 8.

8000,First edition. - The illustrations, which it has often been suggested are by William Blake, are much more likely to be
by the young William Mulready who was responsible for much of the illustrative work at the Juvenile Library. It was
not until the sixth edition that the name of Mary Lamb appeared for the first time on the title-page, despite the tales
being mostly her work. - Faint wear to joints and edges.

official postcards for the Austrian Adria Exhibition which took place in Vienna in 1913. Here the complete set of 6

Moore counted to the circle of Richetts, Shannon and L. Pissarro, during many years he was a friend of the poet W.B
Yeats for whom he illustrated most of his books. Signed proof prints from the artist are extremely rare.- (From the

typographical picture-poem entitled 'Gesetztes Bildgedicht', is addressed more to the eye then to the ear - shaped

monograms are all by members of the Secession. The title-page is a coloured reproduction of the poster by Alfred
Roller. In this exhibition the Beethoven-Monument by Max Klinger was shown. For this purpose the interior of the

5950,The famous special issue of the last year of "Ver Sacrum", the calendar for the year 1903. The wonderful coloured
woodcuts for the different month are by Friedrich Knig, Ferdinand Andri, Emil Orlik, Wilhelm List, Koloman
Moser, Leopold Stolba, Elena Luksch, Karl Mller, Max Kurzweil and Alfred Roller. The ornamental borders for the
calendar are by Alfred Roller. Only 500 copies were edited. "Ver Sacrum" war das offizielle Organ der Wiener
Secession, die 1897 gegrndet wurde und deren Prsident der Maler Gustav Klimt war. Die Architekten Josef
Hoffmann und Joseph Maria Olbrich waren fhrende Mitglieder. Ihre Arbeiten und die von Koloman Moser waren
