Tebodin is a multidisciplinary consultancy and engineering firm. They have clients worldwide and have the knowledge and
experience of approximately 4,900 experts in industry, health & nutrition, oil & gas, chemicals, infrastructure, property
and energy & environment. The company has a network of around fifty offices in West, Central and Eastern Europe, the
Middle East, Asia and Africa. Tebodin is part of the international engineering and services company Bilfinger SE.
My role was primary project costing and planning during the design stage (Basic FEED process) for the design
consultancy projects. I was also involved in proposal stages for developing construction schedules for contractors. I
was overseeing the project controls in terms of man-hours and costs as earned value analysis and reporting to top
management on the analysis for over 50 projects of Tebodin, Dubai.
Responsibilities:

Planning, Scheduling &Proposals ManagementScheduled Project Plans for Proposals in Progress. Achieved a high
success rate in terms of Proposals achieved vs. proposals prepared. The project plans have been prepared based on the
inputs from Engineering department and validating them for completeness and correctness. Key proposals which are
successful are Minhad Air base, BIG Packaging Plant, Lamprell GRC Refinery. The scheduled was optimized for
resources and time while planning by leveling the resources without much deviation from the duration of the project.
Used Primavera P6/ MS Project depending on the complexity of the project.
Project and Financial Cost Risk Control Studied the FPR (Financial Reporting system)of the company and the
individual projects for Man-hours Versus Costs & Profits. Analyzed close to 50 projects from Engineering &
Environmental Divisions of the company. Some of the biggest Clients were DUGAS, ENOC EPCL, Qaiwan, EPPCO
& Punj Llyod. Amongst these projects the analysis was done for pending debtors, accounts receivables, yet to invoice,
loss making projects and improvisation techniques for them, balancing the financial risk of - costs incurred versus
accounts receivable over the timelines and reporting to management. Developed a Work-in-hand versus expected
Projects based on Business Development inputs to forecast the man-hours for the company and the deficit. The format
has been accepted to be standardized at Tebodin, Middle East Offices.
Earned Value Analysis / Cost Engineering streamlined several man-hour templates for completeness and correctness
principles of Tebodin. Developed CTR (Cost Time Resource) formats for EPCL; DUSUP and approval rate on manhour is 100%. Conceptualized Man-hour Consumption versus Physical Progress of Project (Earned Value Analysis) for
DUGAS and subsequently implemented for ENOCs Minhad Air Base for reporting to Project Managers and Office
Director. Other projects worked are service orders from EPCL, Qaiwan, Dragon Oil and DUSUP.
Project Controls Reporting : Closely worked with all the project managers of Dubai Office for complete Project Control

planning for their various water pipeline projects and Building projects
Project: Golden Miles 3 Project for Nakheel at Palm Jumeirah Location: Dubai, UAE
Civil Engineering Sector: Construction of residential buildings & contractual claims from contractors

Claim status of contractor: Successful in obtaining the claimed amounts from Nakheel through successful negotiations
and period contractual correspondence
Responsibilities:
Studied the planned schedule plan and contract of the building construction project to initial the claims process
Initiated the impact as planned schedule analysis as the client didnt take action for approval on as build schedule to
identify the delays of contractor and consultant to estimate the delay caused in the project and determine the delay days
which should be compensated to the contractor as extension of time
Preparation of cause and effect reports based on existing correspondence between the client and contractor
Liasoning with the then project manager of the project to understand delay causing events by contractor or consultant

Project Description: The project was partially in progress for construction of water pipeline network in Dubai and I had to
develop a revised balance of work program and submit it to the client DEWA for their requirement and approval. To develop
the balance work program I studied the contractor strategy for construction and redeveloped a revised program for laying
the water pipelines using HDD, NRDC, Open pipe laying methods and several other construction activities like shutdowns,
pit constructions, SCADA cable laying etc
Responsibilities:
Prepare the revised balance of work program for submitting to DEWA based on contractors strategy for construction
Interact with DEWA engineers to understand if any changes are to be made before fixing the baseline of the program.
Update the project progress against the baseline program submitted to DEWA and submit progress reports to DEWA
through contractors consultant to DEWA
Submit the variation orders to the project and incorporate the same in the main program for DEWA approvals
Attend the progress meetings with DEWA, contractor and consultant to analyze the impact of changes to the schedule
if any.
Drafting the Extenstion of Time claims from contractor as the project progress

Transstroy (India) Limited is one of the fastest growing Engineering and Construction company in India. The main interest
of business was in construction and development of the infrastructure projects in India.
I started my career with Transstroy and got promoted from Planning & Tenders Engineer to Project Planning and
Controls Head of Project Management for overseeing the construction progress and developing planning schedules
for the projects.

Project: 4 Laning of Tirupati Tiruthani Chennai Road Widening Project Location: Chennai, India

Project Description: Transstroy was bidding for the construction of 4 laning of the project road which was 127km in length
in states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.The client was NHAI, Government of India and Consultant was EGIS India.
Transstroy was construction contractor and project management contractor for the project. During the bidding stage, the
planning and schedule development of this road project was to be developed and I was assessing the tentative project
schedule for this project along with tender management and management reporting. Transstroy won the bid for construction
and I was responsible for overseeing the execution of the project as project management planning and project control
engineer.
Project: 4 Laning of Bhopal Bypass Road Project Location: Bhopal, India
Civil Engineering Sector: Construction of Highway road project
Estimated Cost of the project: 35 Million USD
Project Description: Transstroy was bidding for the construction of new 4 laning of the project road approximately 52km
in length in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Client is Government of Bhopal and design consultant being Aarvee Associates.
Transstroy won the L1 bid and subsequently completed the project construction. The project management was being handled
by Transstroy and I was appointed planning manager for the project overseeing planning & scheduling and project controls.
Devised an integrated schedule consisting of designs, procurement and construction schedule.
Project: 2 Laning of Trichy Karaikudi Road Project Location: Chennai, India
Civil Engineering Sector: Construction of Highway road project
Estimated Cost of the project: 70 Million USD
Project Description: Transstroy was bidding for the construction of 2 laning of the project road approximately 110 km in
length in the state of Tamil Nadu. Client is Government of India and design consultant being LBG . Transstroy won the L1
bid and subsequently constructed the project. The project management was being handled by Transstroy and I was appointed
planning manager for the project overseeing planning & scheduling and project controls.
Project: 2 Laning of Jagityal Peddapalli Road Project Location: Hyderabad, India
Civil Engineering Sector: Construction of Highway road project
Estimated Cost of the project: 18 Million USD, World Bank funded project
Project Description: Transstroy won the bid for the construction of 2 laning of the project road approximately 58 km in
length.Client is Government of India, funded by World Bank. Transstroy subsequently constructed the project. The project
management was being handled by Transstroy and I was appointed planning manager for the project overseeing planning
& scheduling and project controls progress reporting
Project: 2 Laning of Dindigal Theni Road Project Location: Chennai, India
Civil Engineering Sector: Construction of Highway road project
Estimated Cost of the project: 70 Million USD
Project Description: Transstroy was bidding for the construction of 2 laning of the project road approximately 129 km in
length in the state of Tamil Nadu. Client is Government of India and design consultant being Halcrow. Transstroy won the
L1 bid and subsequently constructed the project. The project management was being handled by Transstroy and I was
appointed planning manager for the project overseeing planning & scheduling and project controls. The project had several

issues including the ROW acquisitions and government approvals which delayed the project. All these changes have been
incorporated and revised schedules have been presented to the management.
Project: Construction of new office Building for Transstroy Corporate office Location: Hyderabad, India

Project Description: Transstroy was on its expansion plans and proposed to construct a new office building in Hyderabad.
The construction of the building was planned for a year with 5 floors spanning 40,000 sq ft with specialist fixtures and
interiors. I developed a project schedule for the construction of this building project and provided management reporting on
the progress of the project. The project completed well on time and is rated one of the best office spaces in Hyderabad with
occupancy of 1000 staff members.
Project: Engineering, Procurement & Installation of Wind Power Plant Location: Belgaum, Karnataka, India

Estimated Cost of the project: 10 Million USD
Project Description: The project involved installation of 9.6 MW wind power plant in the state of Karnataka. Oversee the
project schedule for initiation, vendor identification GE, GAMESA, Suzlon, Vestas etc , Installation schedules, obtaining
permits from Karnataka Electricity Board, submitting of project feasibility report, developing a financial model for the
contractor, signing of power purchase agreements with government, financial closure with banks, testing and commissioning
works. I was deputed as project planning and analyst for identifying the opportunities in Wind power and enabling to single
handedly work on all aspects of the wind project life cycle. The learning has been steep in this energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze the contractual requirement for highways, metros, buildings, wind energy power projects of NHAI/ APRDC/
KREDL/MPRDC (all based on FIDIC standards of Bidding Documents) and evaluate the bidding position of the
Construction contractor and identification of shortfalls in requirements
Develop tentative project baselines planning schedules from WBS during bidding and revising at the award stage based
on the inputs from Client and stakeholders design consultants, vendors and sub-contractors. Develop integrated
schedules to take into account the delay causing parties of the project
Progress reporting and variance analysis for the projects during construction stage
Change management process identifying changes in scope and incorporating to the project schedule if change order
is valid and approved by developer
Coordinating and submitting reports to Lenders Independent Engineer for disbursal of loan funds
Tracking the approvals needed for the project and their impact on project schedule
Contractual and period correspondence to Client on the status of the project and contracts required for the government
like state support agreement, lenders EPC contract, signed concessionaire agreement etc
Develop cash flow S-curve for the projects and report to management about the comprehensive costs vs. timelines and
current status of the project against a cost baseline
Supply look ahead schedules to construction manager and request progress reporting on these activities from site
Develop recovery plans in all cases as inputted from all stakeholders and any revisions in original logic of the program
Develop man-power histograms and machinery requirements of the projects
Attend meeting and document the minutes and incorporate these changes if any to the schedule and develop revised
baselines
Analyze the land acquisition status and ROW status as they have a huge bearing on the project planning and scheduling
Archive all the changes and revision of the project schedule to be useful for contractual claims and assessments in the
project and delay analysis

Project: Hyderabad Metro Project Location: Hyderabad

Project Description: Hyderabad Metro is an elevated rapid transport Metro System in Hyderabad, India. The length of the
elevated corridor is about 72km with 66 stations across 3 different corridors. One of the biggest projects in India. I was

specifically appointed to oversee the planning of the bid process from end to end and contracts engineer for submission of
bids of the contractor for RFQ and RFP stages. Since the contractor is bidding for constructing a project in scope and
magnitude for the first time, it provided me sufficient challenge to study the metro system, develop a tentative schedule for
construction and bid process incorporating inputs from management and subject matter experts. My responsibilities are:

Bid process planning schedule for managing the bid process for the project in lines with the Governments timelines.
Developed a tentative engineering, procurement, construction schedule for the project for internal management
evaluation during the tender proposal stage based on the strategy of construction devised by the management
