MATERIALS: workbooks, flashcards, coloured pencils, audio recording.
AIMS:
1. To review the previous knowledge.
2. To learn the new words related to farm animals.
3. To associate words with images.
STAGES OF LESSON
1. Warmer
Time: 5 min.
Greetings and conversation.
Checking the previous knowledge.
2. Lead in
Time: 5 min.
Showing flashcards with farm animals: dog, cat, horse, pig, cow etc.
3. Presentation of the topic
Time: 25 min.
Activity 1: Ss. repeat after T. the name of the animals which are in the
pictures.
Activity 2: Ss. look in their workbooks and name the animals which they see
in the picture.
T. asks Ss.: How many hens/chickens/ cows can you see?
What does the cow/ sheep/ say?
Activity 2: Ss. listen the song The animals on the farm. Then they try to learn
the song with their teacher.
4. Feedback
Time: 10 min.
Ss. do in their workbooks a colouring activity.
5. Evaluation
Time: 5 min.
