The student should use his/her full name first and then add in Please call me . The
student should also repeat the other persons name to feel a little closer to them.

3. Reinforce the goal of the lesson by asking a few questions like:


Do you sometimes talk about your hometown with people?
Are you from a big city or a small city?
Is it near Tokyo?

4. Read the first dialogue together and ask some follow-up questions.
Focus on pronunciation, intonation, and fluency.
Is this a natural conversation? Why not?

Is this conversation more natural than the first one? Why?

Practice using So, Oh, and And in your conversation. Also, be sure to
give your answer, add some details, and ask a question to continue the
conversation.
Example:
Where do you live?
Oh, I live in Fujisawa. Its a small city near Yokohama. And where do you live?

8. Complete the final activity.

The student should use silent fillers, such as Let me see, Let me think, Thats a
good question. The student should also be able to use ballpark figures for big numbers.

3. Reinforce the goal of the lesson by asking a few questions like:


Do some people ask you about your company?
Is it difficult to explain your companys business?
