DETAILED TEST PROCEDURE FOR QC

*** BOOM HOIST ***

* Check to see if Limit Switches Use for Boom Hoist are set in Proper Position
* Place Trolley in park position without load in spreader. Raise the Boom to Vertical position
- Check upper slowdown and stop by Encoder and Limit Switch
- Check Boom Latches sequence
- Check if Trolley is Inoperable
* Lower the Boom to Horizontal Position
- Check Boom Down Slowdown Check by Encoder
- Check Boom Down Stop Limit Switch (Horizontal Position)
* Raise and stop the Boom about 1 to 2 degrees (Almost Horizontal Position)
- Check Thruster Brake and Emergency Disk Brake with the Boom Hoist Motor OFF
* Set all switches to Normal Position, Run Full cycles of Boom Hoist, Latch ,Unlatch and Lower
- Fill Up the Check List below:

*** GANTRY TRAVEL - No Load Test ***

* Check to see if Limit Switches Use for GANTRY are set in Proper Position.
With no load on the spreader perform the following test
* Release the gantry stowage pins, and travel the QC to both travel directions.
* During running, checked the following if it is in proper function.
* Rail clamp engages automatically when the gantry motor is de-energized and disengages
when it's energized.
* check to see that the warning horns are operative.
* Demonstrate that bumpers are operational.
*Over travel (in escess of legth of main power supply cale) not possible.
* Demonstrate that gantry travels from control panel in the ground level.
