Mpho joined Eskom Holdings Limited ("Eskom") as a Non-Executive Director in July 2002, serving on
its Board, Audit Committee and Human Resources Ethics & Remuneration Committee. He later
assumed the responsibility of Chairman upon appointment by the Cabinet. Prior to the full-time role
of Chairman at Eskom, Mpho held the position of Group executive for Transformation and Corporate

between Standard Bank and key stakeholder-bodies, thus ensuring that Standard Bank was a
strategic long-term partner and a relevant corporate citizen. Mpho was later assigned a role at
Standard Bank Headquarters as the Director: Public Sector Banking. Before his appointment at
