2. Product Overview
The Projector consists of the DLP projector controller, Lamp controller, Power supply system,
and the system cooling controller. The DLP controller captures the digital PC data and video
data and converts them into the DMD display device. The lamp controller controls the lamps
power and synchronizes its frequency with color display sequence. Power supply unit controls
the AC line power factor and converts primary voltage to secondary low voltage for digital
board. The system cooling controller drives the airflow to cool the lamps heat and electrical
components heat.

Let the projector on the desk (dont move it up/down or left/
right) and just inspect the pattern.
4. If blur or shadow worse than Vendor OOB, than NG
1. When RGB value of content input is smaller
than 20%, system will automatically switch to Eco mode, if
RGB value is greater than 60%, the projector will back to
Normal mode.
2. When DCR function turns on, lamp mode function is
grayed out to disable; when DCR function turns off, lamp
mode would return to setting value.
(Viewsonic agreed to take reliability and noise impact
caused by DCR function, but detailed specification of DCR
above would be finalized to suitable for reducing reliability
and noise impact by vendor after PPR sample)

1.0 Inspection zone definition and inspection distance


A-side:

1.1 Appearance Inspection Criteria


1.1.1 Environment Condition
1.1.1.1 Lighting intensity
All appearance quality shall be inspected with the lighting condition as 500~800Lux
(natural lighting or white fluorescent light).
1.1.1.2 Inspection angle and distance to object or target
All part inspection must be done under direct overhead lighting. Viewing angle and
distance are dependent on surface classification. In all cases, parts must be held in
such that the light reflection does not disturb the inspector's eye.

How to Download Firmware
Hardware required
1. MINI RS232 Download cable
2. Personal computer or laptop computer

DLP Composer lite install procedure
Installation Location
The default installation directory is:
C:\Program Files\DLP Composer Lite 7.0
If you want to install to a different directory (perhaps alongside a prior release of DLP
Composer Lite), click the "Browse" button on the "Select Features" page..
RS232 Support - Choosing the RS232 interface
To select the RS232 communications interface, choose "Preferences" from the "Edit"
menu, click the "Communications" page and choose "Serial Po (DDP2000/DDP3020
only)".

Click Configure to set up RS232 parameter:

You can now use DLP Composer Lite to communicate with a DDP2230-based projector
via RS232 using the Flash Loader tool.

1. Click on Flash Loader and browse the image file (new version firmware)

1. Light Pipe Module assembly and overfill alignment
1.1 Assembly LP Module to HSG DMD
(1) Assembly two Overfill adjustment screws to HSG DMD (Fig. 1-1).
** Adjustment criteria refer to below item
(2) Assembly Clip LP and lock with screw well (Fig. 1-2).
(3) Press CLIP of RE_BKT_LP first, and then push it into the hole (Fig. 1-3).
(4) Placed LP Module on LP datum of DMD HSG and adjustment screw well(Fig.1-4).
(5) Assembly Baffle LP first (Fig. 1-5-1) & push Baffle LP to hook DMD HSG, and then
lock with screw well (Fig. 1-5-2).
1.2 Overfill Adjustment @ LP Module
Overfill Adjustment Criteria:
(1) Pre-assembly 2 adjusting screws. Criteria shown as Fig.1-6.
(2) Alignment Sequence:
a. To adjust Horizontal Adjustment Screw firstly, and then Vertical Adjustment
Screw.
b. Refer to Fig. 1-6.
(3) For Overfill Re-adjustment:
a. Those 2 Adjustment Screws must be released closely to the Pre-assembly

gradually.
2. When users press this button again, more magnification will take place
gradually
3. When user already zoom in or zoom out image, use could use direction keys
to pan the picture. (Only the Digital zoom functions enables, and then pan

1. By pressing Zoom out button, the size of the magnified image will be
reduced gradually.
2. When users press this button again, the size of the image will be reduced
accordingly (Until the image restore to the original size).
3. When user already zoom in or zoom out image, use could use direction keys
