Design competition!
N: Once again BPHMJTPB has prepared another amazing event this year, The OIL EXPO
2015 with the theme Metamorphosis to Face Energy Crisis

First of all let us introduce ourselves, my name is Roy Saputra but you can call me,

: And my name Novia Fazilani and you can call me Novia. And we are the MC for
todays event. First of all, because your safety is our priority lets go through the safety
briefing first. *Improvise on safety rules*
N: ok now lets get into the competition, as all of you have been given the rules and
regulations to this competition, nonetheless we will read them out to you again.
* RULES AND REGULATIONS*
Roy:

Delegates are recommended to wear Almamater Jackets

A team member leaving the premises without permission will get their score deducted
-20 points each

Team thats caught bringing/using equipments and materials other than the specified
will get a disqualified sanction.

Make an Offshore Drilling Platform / Rig

The Specified materials that you can only bring/use are (amount not specified and
type has to be the same):

A. Transparent Tape

B. Double Tape 24mm

C. Scissors (Not specified)

D. Cutter (Not specified)

E. Uhu Glue ; (Not Specified)

F. Compass ; (Not Specified)

Time
A. Building Time: 4 Hours
B. Presentation: 5 Minutes
C. Questions and Answers: 15 minutes

Novia:
Minimum Specifications:

A. Area : 48000 mm2 (Square millimetre)

B. Total Height : 40 cm

The team that does not meet the minimum specification requirement will get
deducted/subtract by 20 points

Load Test:

Every load weighs 2.5 Kg

Diamater : 15-20 cm

Load test until 25 cm

Evaluation Criteria

A. Jury Evaluation : 65%

2. Presentation

Overall Presentation Evaluation:

1. How complete/comprehensive the innovation/existing technology is

2. Knowledge
3. The Possibility of the model to be applied in the oil and gas industry
4. Interactive

Presentation must be conducted in english

Team that exceeds 5 minutes on presentation will be stopped.

If the team wishes to use a presentation media then it must be conducted in power
point 2010 or Prezi

Laptop used in presentation will be provided by the committee

B. Load Test 35%

Load test until Rig Floor collapse

You can withdraw equipments above the rig, but NOT at the floor (for Double floor)

consist of each team presenting their Oil Rigs

: First of all, we would like to welcome and introduce our honourable judges Mr. Ivon
pheres Qadafie, Mr. Achmad Yaser And Mr. P Simorangkir

: *CV pa Ivon* Our first judge is Mr.Ivon Pheres Qadafie. He was born in Nganjuk,
13th of August 1986, he got his Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering in 2010 at
Trisakti University.
In 2010, from October to December, he was a Project Officer at PT Adiguna SE. in Jakarta,
Indonseia. In 2011, from January till March he was the admin drilling operations at PT
kasadasa Perkasa. Since July 2011 until now, he is a Casing Drilling Engineer at
Schlumberger DT&R, Jakarta indonesia

*Cv pa yaser* Next we also have Mr. Achmad Yaser. He got his bachelors degree in
Chemical Engineering in 2007 at University of Indonesia. PPS FTTM ITB at 2012. He got
his masters degree from Trisakti University in 2015 majoring in Petroleum Engineering. In
2007, from march till july he was QA Analyst at PT Petrosea, Tbk. In august 2007 until
august 2008 (One year) he was a Graduate Engineer Trainee - Batch 5 at PT Medco E&P
Indonesia. From August 2008-September 2013 he was a Completion / Workover Engineer at
MedcoEnergi. Since October 2013 until now he is a Reservoir Engineer at PT Medco E&P
Indonesia.

*Cv pa Simon* We also have Mr. P Simorangkir. He was born in Jambi 9th July 1947.
He graduated from AKAMIGAS in 1971. He got his masters degree from ITB in 1981. He
was a General Manager of P.T. Akar Eriguna Energi ( TAC ) South Sumatera Jakarta
Indonesia since 2004 to 2007. In 2007 to 2009, He was a freelance Drilling Consultant of P.T.
Tri Anugerah Sakti Jakarta Indonesia. He was a Drilling Project Manager of P.T. Pertalahan
Arnebatara Natuna.(TAC) since 2009 to 2011. He was a Drilling Advisor of P.T. IBN Oil
Holdico (TAC) West Papua since 2012 to 2013. Also As Part Timer Lecturer at Trisakti
University Jakarta Indonesia in Petroleum Engineering Departement Since 1993 until
present.
