ABOUT
RELIGARE SECURITIES LTD.
Religare Securities Ltd. (RSL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Religare Enterprises Limited
(REL) and is one of the market leading securities firms in India serving over 8 lakh clients across
both Offline and Online platforms. Through its extensive footprint extending to over 500 cities,
the company offers broking services in Equity, Currency and Commodity (through its subsidiary
Religare Commodities Limited) as well as depository participant services.
RSL is a member of the NSE, BSE, MCXSX, USE and a depository participant with NSDL and
CDSL. RSL also offers TIN facilitation and PAN facility at select branches a unique service to
help an individual with PAN, TAN and TDS/TCS returns related requirements. In addition, RSL
is an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor. RSL employs more than 4800 employees and has
a wide distribution reach that spans across more than 1500 locations in India.
Religare has been constantly innovating in terms of product and services and to offer such
incisive services to specific user segments it has also started the NRI, FII, HNI and Corporate
Servicing groups. These groups take all the portfolio investment decisions depending upon a
clients risk / return parameter.
Religare has a very credible Research and Analysis division, which not only caters to the need of
our Institutional clientele, but also gives their valuable inputs to investment dealers.

HISTORY
Founded in 1984, initially Religare was a stock brokerage firm called Religare Securities Ltd.
(RSL) and was admitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in 1994. In 2000, it secured
membership of the Futures and Options segment of the NSE and also registered with National
Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) as a depository participant.
In 2002, RSL received registration as Portfolio Manager from Securities and Exchange Board
of India (SEBI). RSL registered with Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL) as a
Depository participant in 2003. It also became a stock broker at the Bombay Stock Exchange
(BSE) in 2004.
An office was established in London in 2006. In 2006, RSL received registration as Merchant
Banker in category-1 from SEBI. In 2007, RSL received membership of Derivative segment of
the BSE as trading-cum clearing member.

AWARDS

In 2008, Religare Securities Ltd. was awarded by D & B for the category Best Broking

House-with a Global Presence.


In 2012, Religare Securities Limited was awarded the Best Investor Education &
Category Enhancement Currency Broker

MANAGEMENT
Mr. Nitin Jain is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Religare Securities

Limited.
CEO is supported by various HODs who are creditable professional consisting of
Chartered Accountants, MBAs with varied experience in financial services and stock

broking functions.
The Board of Directors consists of Mr. Harpal Singh as Chairman, Mr. Sunil Godhwani
as Managing Directors and Mr. Vinay Kumar Kaul, Mr. Malvinder Mohan Singh, Mr.
Shivinder Mohan Singh as Directors.
