STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My Background:
My name is and I am 21 years old. I have completed my Matriculation from I
came back from UK in July 2013 and spent some time with my family. During
my studies in the UK I felt that I am more inclined towards commerce field.
After having discussion with my teacher in the UK and attended many
seminars on foreign education, I finalize to chose commerce as future degree
which was strongly recommended by the representative of UCIC (University
of Canterbury) as well.

My Family:

Reasons to choose commerce as my career:

From my childhood I have dreamed to have a successful career, during my
Diploma programs in UK I did study Business, Commerce, Information
Technology and Business Information systems etc. But I have finally realized
the growing demand of commerce in almost every part of the world my
teachers and family members have always appreciated my skills in
commerce, thus after seeing the demand of commerce as a career in
Pakistan and other parts of the world I have finalized to go for a commerce
career for my futures betterment. An international degree will have a
greater impact on my career, my time in UK also gave me an in depth view
of the importance of a commerce graduate and his career.

Why UCIC in Partner with University of Canterbury:

I am going for my UCICs University transfer program in commerce which will
lead me to Bachelors of Commerce at university of Canterbury, I chose UCIC
because it is giving me flexible options and a pathway to get into Canterbury
Universitys Bachelor of Commerce Program, which is one of the highest

ranked universities in New Zealand or still I can study and complete my

degree in UCIC as well. UCIC provides extra classes, more attention, limited
class sizes and many other facilities which can benefit an International
student, Following this further New Zealand has the one of the attractive
lifestyle in the world and living in such a good lifestyle would not only groom
my personality but it would also help me to complete my degree easily.

Why I have chosen New Zealand?

The New Zealand education system is much organized. Highly qualified staf
help raise the quality of education. Plus educational tours and the practical
approach help students' understanding. After completing my degree and
some experience in Newzealand, I will be able to boost my career.
Furthermore, New Zealand diverse culture and lifestyle reflect its liberal
democratic traditions and values, geographic closeness to the AsiaPacific
region, and living in Christchurch, which is one of the worlds most beautiful
cities of the world would be a perfect blend. It is a city of energy,
sophistication and innovation.
New Zealand is a great place to timely and peacefully complete ones
academic goals. It will also enable me to be a part of a multi-cultural society
thus giving me an opportunity to exchange ideas and interact with people
from around the world.

Opportunities after Completion:

After doing a great amount of research regarding my opportunities after
completion, I felt that my career requires a degree for its boom, I started
gathering information about commerce and its opportunities in the coming
years as I had finalized for commerce as my career , I am aware that
commerce individuals will be in high demand in the coming future, doing a
degree from UCIC-Canterbury will not only give a perfect base and growth to
my career but it will also help me to gain extra edge over the local graduates
in Pakistan. I see my career as a successful Commerce graduate not only in
my country where I have target companies like Mobilink, Suzuki Motors, P&G
and many other who have a huge demand for foreign graduates, but this
degree will also give me edge in other parts of the world like Middle East,
North America etc.
I will do my best to complete this degree with flying colors so that my career
takes the right step towards the success

Financial Details:
My father will be my sponsor and he will be funding my whole education and
plus other expenses.
We are showing this Running finance as my fathers business is majorly being
dealt on cash basis, he supported me during my studies in UK and therefore I
and my father assure you that we are capable enough to support my
expenses as he already supported me during my studies in the UK before.
I was required to show an amount of NZD$ 15,000/- against which I have
shown a total amount of NZD$ 40,093.07 which is more than enough to
cover all sort of my expenses.
My father shall also be responsible to pay all the charges of aboard i.e.
Boarding/living/transportation and tuition fee or any other related expenses
etc as and when required. I have no intensions to depend upon any public
funds etc. to fulfill my expenses.
I have genuine intentions to study over there for my career and futures
betterment and will come back to my home and prefer to start career in any
international organization at a managerial position.
