Conquering the patient.
This is a fundamental technical aspect for therapeutic
success; in his formative seminars (Montevideo 2015)
Dr. Alison Schafer explains
the therapeutic importance
of the possibility for the patient to find revealing information in the first meeting.
That is to say, that the therapist must be able to show
him something that appears
as a discovering for the patient. This s what we call recognition reflect. It shows
us when an interpretation
hits the target. According
to Titze, it means earning
the patient. This is the first
rule of treatment that Adler
determinates (Hazan y Titze 2011, p. 176). To achieve this is important to accept the patient as he is and
being empathetic towards
him; meaning being able
to take his place for a momentary lapse. Leaving the
leadership of the session to
the patient, let him speak
about whatever he decides,
renouncing to the forced establishment of a doctor-patient relationship where the
consultant himself is the one
who decides what he wants
to say and, therefore, is responsible of what he says or
stops saying. This implies
the therapists conviction
about the positive resources
that the patient may have
and the possibility for contribution that the environment
may offer. Collaboration
alone can assure victory there where isolated man fatally
crumbles. Ganz (1938, p.
91).

Auto-representacin, dramatizacin, esta se puede comparar con una cuenta autobiogrfica, especie de diario

Pintar a uno mismo a fin

compensacin se expresa
como una restauracin narcisista en sus retratos de

Frida has experienced two
brutal events, accident, illness which produced a real
organic weakness, really
traumatic memory , already
unregistered in the transgenerational. Memory which
produced an artistic stimulation, in both the projection of the continual and the
static. A overcompensation
which becomes the metamorphose of a dramatic
event, as a work of art.
P.Clavillier, p79
Living nature, inanimate
nature, construction and
destruction
Frida never stops painting
and fighting. She experienced dreadful suffering will
be loving all her life-long ;
Her existence is an alternation of fortune and misfortune. Each year her health
becomes worse: metal corset, invalid chair, depressions pain , amputations of
her toes and finally her right
leg, continual immobilization, abortions, loss which
recalls the original loss, lack
of possibility to procreate to
leave any heritage.
The suffering become more
and more, difficult as she
grows older, even a slight
movement can be exhaus-

1946 : she paints The young
deer. A clump of leaves is
pulled from a shrub, symbol
of the youth broken in (her)
accident. This plus the decaying . Trees are allusions
to death. 9 arrows would represent the stages of the calvary of the artist. Nevertheless the deer is a symbol of
renewing by his horns which
are continually replaced,
symbols of fecundity, rebirths. The deer is the symbol of the cyclic renewing .

She (It) will celebrate the life
in the passion, the excess to
put the remote death. The
passion is a violent, passionate movement, of the being
towards that he wishes; for
powerful and continuous
emotion which dominates
the reason and which directs

It is also the narrative of
the tests(events) of a martyr . So represents himself
Frida in The necklace of
thorns who widely seems
to hint at the passion of the
Christ, the path(way) which
leads(drives) to the death
for the resurrection. Semantically, resurrection means
increase(recovery), or the
action(share) to get up from
a prone position. The resurrection of the Christ symbolizes the revival in the eternal life with a spiritual body
different from the carnal
body.

Arid grounds, Frida being a
grand amorous this does not
prevent numerous liaisons
and deceptions sentimentales. In the philosophic tradition the aphrodisiac sexual pleasers are shown as
against death. It is in the necessity of the sexual sharing
that can be found the eternal
fault. Nevertheless the body
which Gallien calls the natural corruptibility of the matter does not correspond to
the natural immortality.
Frida experiences dreadful
emotions. She fells that she
tries to express new ideas all
exposed to the human torpor and decompensation, as
Gabriel Marcel relates in the
human dignity (1960).
My painting carries the
message of my grief. Painting has filled my life. I have
lost three children and lived a serie of terrible things
which filled my life. My painting has helped . . The moments of fall of low pressure, inflection of the psychic
movement correspond to a
loss of physical abilities, to
a more and more rough confrontation over the years in
the bankruptcy of the body,
the loss of consistency of the
being and the strengthening
of the feeling of limitation.
But also are the consequence of the disorders and the
loving resentments lived in
a big intensity, his(her,its)

It is here that the traumatic

natural relational consciousness and ability of cooperation.
Today neurobiology confirms what Adler said 100
years ago:
We are, from a neuro-biological view, beings generated from social resonance
and cooperation. The core
of all human motivation is to
find and give interpersonal
recognition, esteem, attention or affection. (Joachim
Bauer, Prinzip Menschlichkeit Warum wir von Natur aus kooperieren.).
The human being is not determined, but can move, with
the suitable basic conditions
(respect,
encouragement,
signification) to the socially useful side. A movement
towards the lived Gemeinschaftgefhl.
The parallels between the
garden and the children are
interesting:
The garden was closed 10
years before when Colins
mother had a fatal accident
in it.
It was her garden which she
had created and which had
meant so much to her: 10
years in which the garden
has run wild and has been
neglected.
The children are 10 years
old. They have run wild
through neglect and spoiling
education.
They have not been socially
compatible.
