(Aerospace Fasteners)

I began with Linread as the Audit Manager but due to my influence on quality improvement was
promoted to Quality Assurance Manager in November 2008 I am now responsible to the
Operations Director with direct link to the Managing Director for escalated quality issues. I
control a Team of 23 Quality staff including three Quality Engineers, 3 Product Engineers and 16
Internal Auditors. Additionally I also control the In-house Metallography, Mechanical Testing &
Non-destructive Testing Laboratories.


Concept & Implementation of multi continual improvement schemes which resulted in record
Monthly turnover of 3 million pounds. (Company over 30 years old)

Concept & Implementation of multi continual improvement schemes which resulted in the
reduction of scrap by 80%.

Successful implementation of Process Approach Quality Management System, including

concept & training.

Over an 18 month period, I have successfully reduced AS 9100 Certification Audit

nonconformities from 17 Major inherited nonconformities down to Zero in February 2009.
