Dear Friendsboth new and old,
Its the season of new beginnings for manywith new terms, schools, jobs,
colleges and opportunities for us as a church family to share Christ. But its
good to remember that while there may be new beginnings we hold fast to
the same old glorious God-given good news.
This is how the Apostle Paul begins his letter to the Romans,
Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart
for the gospel of Godthe gospel he promised beforehand through his
prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of
holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God, by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
So lets remember that the gospel is Gods; that its not new; that its all
about Jesusboth man and God, who has been proved to be Lord by His
mighty resurrection.
So if youre new, we look forward to sharing this good news of Jesus with
youdo come along to either Christianity Explored or Uncover or join a
midweek Branch Group. And for all us, my prayer is that we will grow to
know Jesus better as we meet together and as we
