EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Retailing in India is one of the pillars of its economy and accounts for 14 to 15 percent of
its GDP,.The Indian retail market is estimated to be US$ 450 billion and one of the top
five retail markets in the world by economic value. India is one of the fastest growing
retail market in the world, with 1.2 billion people.
Magneto-The Mall: A 10,35,000Sqft extravaganza that packs in a million attractions! It's
time to experience world-class entertainment, business and luxury brands in a truly
international ambience.The constant effort to bring million attractions for the people of
Raipur is taking shape in a fast pace, with brands in the category of apparels, leather,
hypermarket, gaming, multiplex coming to Raipur for the first time.
The aim of this research is to study the consumer behavior of the consumers of Raipur
regarding their shopping likes and dislikes and their choices about the various shopping
malls of Raipur. Study of customer satisfaction of magneto mall in Raipur.
The research type of the project is Descriptive method - The term descriptive research
refers to the type of research question, design, and data analysis that will be applied to a
given topic. Descriptive statistics tell what is, while inferential statistics try to determine
cause and effect.
Sample design is the way of selecting a sample is known as sample design. It is definite
plan for obtaining sample from given population. It refers to the procedure or technique
adopted in selecting items for the sampleType of design is Non Probability .
With the help of this project researcher wants to find out the factors which attracts the
customer toward magneto the mall and gives a competitive advantage to it. As magneto
the mall is a service provider and its only differentiating factor is service delivery and
service escape. The research is conducted on people visiting the mall, and also through
feedback from the customers
There are some major findings from the project which are as follows
After conducting the research the researcher found out that 45% of the people prefer
magneto the mall for shopping because it offers them large variety of products and
services also the promotion activity like various type of events carried out by the magneto
mall also plays a important role in bringing the customer to the mall event like world
tobacco day ,mothers day and in every weekends mall organize event which increase the
foot fall.
The objective of the summer internship project was to learn organization culture. And
also to know about how the practical world of Corporate can be related to the theoretical
knowledge.
