THERE IS A LOT TO KNOW William Dennis Scholarship

An academic programme abroad to the majority of people this could mean

an opportunity to visit a new country, its tourist attractions and continue with
their studies; however, in my point of view, it means having a large perspective
instead of an outdated general system, due to this experience it is fed not only
with knowledge as well as uncountable emotions and experiences.

The idea about continuing studying abroad for an specific period of time, not
only means having an immediate emotion to travel, consequently, it carries a
personal commitment to be open-minded, leave prejudices and be conscious of
the consequences that means having personal development and encourages
me to obtain this scholarship. Similar to what Mark Twain said "Travel is an
exercise with fatal consequences for prejudice, bigotry and narrowmindedness.Because of this reason, it is interesting to know about my country,
its traditions, beliefs, religiosity, laws and what is good and bad. On the one
hand, it could be marvelous because of the country, these situations could
anesthetize us to be in a monotonous life style,this is what I do not want, neither
to my country nor my life due to there is always something new to do, learn and
develop to achieve something more powerful that we have, specially what I
have now.
Enjoying this possibility activates the possiblility to accept and take possession
of an enormous number of academic knowledge and cultural to know and
accept diversity.Furthermore, the challenge about surviving and becoming a
winner in this lonely experience, without friends and relatives, something is
generated considering thrive to become a proud of my friends and being my
friends satisfaction. Circumstances that I am aware of and I have shared with
my loved ones, taking into account becoming a winner of this scholarship, with
the main purpose to change my way of view about life.
For me, focusing on my career that I am studying now , it represents a
magnificent opportunity , not only to learn from professors as well as an
opportunity to analyze and develop a critique of the legislation and
jurisprudence; and know how the social groups are organized and ordered , in
othe words how law is a beneficial tool that makes contribution to social peace
and individual realization. Considering that there is no country around the world
which has development without rules of coexistence.

A bunch of thanks for this opportunity, I promise myself my good intentions to

learn and with your help I will become a better person and an excellent
profesional. Without prejudices and showing respect to new issues. Like San
Agustin said " The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a
page, now I just need to let me continue reading this sheet , I have no doubt ,
will be the beginning of a chapter of my life I am eager and determined to read.
