Applicant for September 2015 admission to Erasmus Program

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to you to apply for the Erasmus student

exchange progamme at Yeditepe University Istanbul, Turkey. My
name is Andrei Costea and I am 23 years old. I am a student at
the University of Pitesti,Romania. I am in the 2 nd year student in
Physiotherapy for people with disabilities .
I would honor the opportunity if you accept me for the
Erasmus programme,because it will mean a lot for me and my
future career prospective.Firstly,it would definitely be a very

efficient and successfully method to improve my skills. I will

cherish the opportunity to enhance my lab experience at your
facilities,since your University has a great reputation in that field.
I would like to emphasize that I am eager to benefit from this
programme,as I will get to better know Erasmus students from the
whole Europe,exchange experiences and practices. I advocate the
opinion that Erasmus programme is an excellent oportunity to
meet various groups of young people,spend quality time with
them and get to know their habits,attitudes,lifestyle etc.
Also,living, studying and having fun within international scholars
would broaden my horizons and enable me to build strong social
network with people through our continent.
I have always been fascinated by the culture and history of
Turkey. Unfortunately, I havent not the opportunity to visit Turkey
yet. The Erasmus program would be a unique chance to fulfill this
ambition and experience life in Turkey and learn more about the
culture through first-hand experience and university courses.I look
forward to getting know Turkey much better.
Studying at Yeditepe University Istanbul I would have a
chance to get to know the Turkish higher education system and
take advantage of it. If I become your student I will use this
comparison to promote the Turkish educational system not only in
my homeland,but in the whole EU also .

I would be very grateful if you consider my application and

give me a chance to participate in the Erasmus programme at
your University,which would mark my future professional and
personal development.
