How we maximize opportunities is what defines our character;
we shape and determine our outcome and success. Sometimes, we
must think fearlessly in life when opportunities spawn. My father
entered the U.S.A with one hundred dollars thirty years ago, and I
consider his entire career to be a personal example of success.
Thus, I look up to him as a role model. This alone, has motivated me
to persevere and excel in every aspect possible, in order to feel
accomplished. Graduating from one of the worlds most prestigious
business schools grants me to feel accomplished by enabling me to
be successful in my ultimate chosen career. UCLA Andersons first
principle plays a major component to how I conceptualize life.
Sharing success with your family and loved ones is what makes
everything worth working for. Ultimately, some day I wish to provide
for my retired parents and a family I hope to raise as a proud father.
This is one way I have the ability to drive positive change for my life
and my family. Needless to say, these are all only future
expectations; I need to drive change for myself right now. The
Anderson Schools investment management program will benefit me

in pursuing my long-term career and academic goals. Likewise, I aim

to contribute back to this significant institution in various ways.
Diversity is an influential component in the business world,
enabling the combination of multiple unique personalities and their
experiences that contribute to a corporation in many different ways.
Having lived in Bangkok and Los Angeles, completing several
internships in Thailand, along with pursuing an Economics degree in
the U.S., I feel I can contribute to the quality and diversity of an
incoming class of freshmen. My personal experience with both
Western and Eastern worlds (in lengthy periods), enable a strong
foundation of understanding cultural disciplines for many respective
ethnicities, and the ability to grasp how this is operated within
professionalism. During the Summer 2014, I underwent an
internship in the corporate banking division in the Bank of
Ayutthaya, one of Thailands largest banks. I was put into a team of
project analysts in a very diverse work environment. A great deal
was learnt from the team such as how to analyze the feasibility of
credit proposals applied by giant real estate corporations. In
addition, I learned the dynamics and applications of banking, and
the various structures that aggregate the infrastructure such as the
operations of the trading room, risk department, etc. In a broader
sense, I try to understand the structural procedures and composed
performances of banks and its importance to the overall economy. .
Essentially, experience is a crucial principle I try to abide by. With
experience comes wisdom and knowledge of specific fields. I feel

having exposure and engagement in the professional world will

boost ones value as a compelling candidate. However, my interest
is more emphasized on other financial instruments such as hedge
funds; this is closely related to investment strategy. I need to
acquire the knowledge and tools from your program, which will allow
proper application in the real world and for me to strive in
investment banking, or wealth management. Furthermore, I am very
passionate and keen on analytically indulging in fixed income, one
of the elements of the investment strategy program; hence, I am
confident UCLA Andersons School of Management is the right place
for me to fit in.
As a child, adults always told me I was too sharp for my age.
During my youth, I was always matched with the teacher in my
chess classes because I was too advanced. I have always kept
myself sharp by being a dedicated avid student to the game of
chess, conquering several championships. Sharpness is a key
principle that I have tried to live by. Relatively all matters dealt with
in the professional world must be performed with astuteness and
composed precision. In addition, I have always considered
mathematics to be one of my favorite subjects. The science of
investment strategy, financial research, and risk management
imposes a remarkably intriguing impression upon me; hence my
interest in the investment management program. There is no doubt
UCLA Andersons investment strategy program will provide the
proper foundation I require to take further relevant steps into my

career, drive positive change in my life, and allow me to share

success with my family. I aim to exemplify commitment, tenacity,
and perseverance in the program; any challenge will be embraced
enthusiastically and performed to the best standards and limits
capable of me doing so.
