In this idea book the Carta Bella Paper and Echo Park Paper Design Teams have once again joined forces

Love You by Wendy Sue Anderson


1. Cut an 11" x 4 1/4" strip from white cardstock. Fold in half to form the
card base.
2. Cut a 5" x 4" rectangle from the "Lace Damask" patterned paper.
Use the border punch to cut a scallop edge from the left side of the
patterned paper and mount it on the white cardstock.
3. Cut a 3" x 4" rectangle from the "Lace Damask" patterned paper and
machine stitch around the perimeter. Mount the rectangle on the
card front.
4. Cut the pink label journaling card from the "Journaling Cards"
patterned paper. Cut the card in half and mount on the left side of
the pink square patterned paper.
5. Cut a 3" x 2" rectangle from the "Border Strips" patterned paper and
mount on the right side of the pink square patterned paper.

6. Mount the award ribbon on the card with the ribbons pointing to the
right side of the card.
7. Cut a 2 1/2" X 2" rectangle from the "Rainbows" patterned paper.
Machine stitch around the perimeter of the rectangle and mount in
the center of the card.
8. Mount the "Love You" sticker from the "Chipboard Accents" sheet
on the yellow square. Add heart stickers from the "Layered Stickers"
sheet on the card.
9. Wrap yellow ribbon around the front of the card and tie into a bow.
Thread the blue flower sticker tag from the "Element Sticker" sheet
onto the pink safety pin and pin to the knot of the bow. Add the pink
"sweetheart" sticker from the "Element Sticker" sheet to the blue
tag sticker.

You Are My Boy Sign by Tamara Tripodi


1. Cover the outside edge of the sign with the "Rough and Tough"
patterned paper.
2. Cover the inside edge of the sign with the "Adventure" patterned
paper.
3. Cover the inside of the sign with the "Scrabble" patterned paper.
4. Cut the ruler strip from the "Border Strips" patterned paper and
mount inside the sign. Trim off excess paper.
5. Add stickers from the "Element Sticker" and "Chipboard Accents"
sheet in the inside of the sign.

6. Cut the "You Are My Boy" border strip from the "Border Strips"
patterned paper and rub edges with brown stamping ink. Add two
orange eyelets to the border strip. Add a "Decorative Brad" to the
strip before mounting it inside the sign with adhesive foam squares.
7. Decorate the edge of the sign with stickers from the "Element
Stickers" and "Chipboard Accents" sheets around the edges of
the sign. Fold and pleat the ruler sticker before mounting it on the
right side of the box.
8. Tie a brown ribbon around the wire. Thread white twine through a
blue button and tie it onto the brown ribbon.

and mount it on the front of a white card base.
2. Cut a 5" x 3 1/4" rectangle from the "Mini Floral" patterned paper
and mount it in the center of the page. Zigzag stitch around the
floral patterned paper with green sewing thread.
3. Mount vintage, cream lace on the card.
4. Cut the mason jar card from the "Journaling Cards" patterned
paper and mount it to the right of the lace with adhesive foam dots.

5. Mount the "You are my happy" sentiment sticker and the yellow
flower stickers from the "Element Sticker" sheet on the card with
adhesive foam dots.
6. Add pearl stickers to the card.
7. Thread jute twine through a green button and mount on the right
side of the card.

True Friends Embroidery Hoop by Tamara Tripodi


1. Cut an 8" circle from the "Forever Friends" patterned paper.
2. Cut three 1 1/4" X 12" strips from the "Little Girl" patterned paper.
Use the decorative edge punch to create a decorative border
across the top of each strip. Carefully pleat and layer each strip
of the green patterned paper on the "Forever Friends" circle.
3. Mount the circle on the back of the wooden embroidery hoop
with the blue flower paper showing through.
4. Use the digital die cut machine to cut the flowers from the "Best
Buddy Blue/Playmate Yellow" and "Pretty Pink/Girly Green" solid

papers. Assemble and mount on the embroidery hoop.


Add yellow buttons to the center of each flower.
5. Mount stickers from the "Element Sticker" sheet on the
embroidery hoop.
6. Thread pink Baker's Twine through two buttons and mount on
either side of the "True Friends" title.
7. Tie yellow ribbon to the top of the embroidery hoop.

Sweet Girl Shadowbox by Tamara Tripodi


1. Fill the inside boxes of the shadowbox with the "Border Strips,"
"Laundry Line," "Lace Damask," and "4 x 6 Journaling Cards"
patterned paper.
2. Decorate the inside and outside of the boxes with stickers from
the "Element Sticker" and "Alpha Sticker" sheet.
3. Use the digital die cut machine to cut four fence pieces from the
"Flower Garden" patterned paper. Mount two fences together
(wrong sides facing together). Mount the two finished fence
pieces on each side of the shadowbox.
4. Mount the girl sticker from the "Chipboard Accents" sheet on the
left side of the shadowbox.

5. Mount the pinwheel sticker from the "Layered Stickers" sheet on


the right fence.
6. Wrap a strip of the "Sweet Clover" patterned paper around a
wooden spool and place it in the upper right box.
7. Use the digital die cut machine to cut a flower from the
"Rainbows" and "Sweet Clover" patterned papers. Assemble and
add a "Decorative Brad" to the center of each flower.
8. Tie pink ribbon into a bow. Thread green Baker's Twine through
a green button and tie it to the pink bow. Mount the bow in the
upper, right corner of the shadowbox.

You're One of a Kind by Tamara Tripodi


1. Use the digital die cut machine to cut the spool shape from the
"Flower Garden" patterned paper.
2. Mount a rectangle of the "Sweet Clover" patterned paper across the
center of the spool.
3. Cut the green card from the "Journaling Cards" patterned paper,
trim in half, and mount on the card.
4. Mount stickers from the "Element Sticker" and "Alpha Sticker" sheet
on the card.
5. Gently bend the apron sticker from the "Element Sticker" sheet.
Adhere the top and the bottom corners of the sticker to the card.

Machine stitch the apron in place with teal thread.


6. Mount the "You're One of a Kind" sticker on the card with adhesive
foam squares.
7. Thread pink Baker's Twine through several buttons in a row and
mount the entire row on the card.
8. Squeeze open a teal clothes pin. Wrap pink Baker's Twine around
one of the sides of the opening and then close the clothes pink.
Mount the clothes pin on the card.

paper. Wrap yellow Baker's Twine around the top of the rectangle
and tie the twine into a bow. Mount the rectangle in the center of
the card.
3. Cut a 5 1/4" X 3" rectangle from the "Inked Numerals" patterned
paper and mount across the card. Machine stitch in place.

4. Select three squares from the "Dear Jane" patterned paper and
cut as one 5 1/4" wide rectangle. Mount the strip on the card with
adhesive foam dots.
5. Add stickers from the "Element Sticker" sheet to the front of
the card.
6. Mount three green pearl stickers on the card.

Home is Where by Tamara Tripodi


1. Cut a 6 1/2" x 5 1/2" rectangle from the "Botanical" patterned paper
and fold in half to form the card base.
2. Cut a 3 1/2" x 3 1/4" triangle from kraft cardstock.
3. Cut several 1/2" x 3/4" strips from the "Fresh Flourish" patterned
paper. Rub each strip with brown stamping ink.
4. Gently curl up each strip with a paintbrush. Mount the bottom row of
strips on the triangle first. Mount the second row on top of the first
row with the strips meeting in the middle of the first strips. Continue
this pattern until the top of the triangle. The last piece should be
centered. Trim off the excess papers from the triangle.

5. Mount the triangle at the top of the card. Trim off the corners of the
"Botanical" folded card (from the top of the card) so there is nothing
showing behind the roof.
6. Decorate the card with stickers from the "Element Sticker" sheet.
Thread twine through two buttons and mount them on the flower
stickers. Overlap the two border stickers on the bottom of the card.
Mount the sentiment sticker on the card with adhesive
foam dots.

1. Cut the card from the "Botanical"
patterned paper.
2. Cut the triangle from kraft cardstock.
3. Cut several small strips from the
"Fresh Flourish" patterned paper.

5. Mount the strips on the triangle.

cut off any excess paper.

1. Use the digital die cut machine to cut the top hat shape from the
"Flying High" and "World Traveler" patterned papers. Assemble the
hat. Decorate the hat with stickers from the "Element Stickers" and
"Chipboard Accents."
2. Wrap two flag stickers from the "Alpha Sticker" sheet around the
top of a striped stick.
3. Use the digital die cut machine to cut the eyeglass shape from the
"Excursion Red/Jet Black" solid paper and mount at the top of the
stick. Glue the stick to the side of the hat.
4. Use the digital die cut machine to cut the suitcase shape from the
"Postage" and "The Express" patterned papers. Rub edges with
brown stamping ink.

5. Add two black eyelets to the suitcase before assembling. Thread


ribbon through the holes and tie into knots on the inside of the
suitcase.
6. Assemble the suitcase.
7. Wrap a 1 1/2" x 12" strip of the "Antique Map" patterned paper
around the suitcase.
8. Decorate the suitcase with stickers from the "Element Sticker" and
"Chipboard Accents" sheet. Poke a hole through the top of the
suitcase. Thread twisted black wire into the hole. Glue the red hot
air balloon sticker to the top of the wire.
9. Mount the hat die cut shape on the top of the suitcase.

You're My Hero Card by Wendy Sue Anderson


1. Cut a 4 1/4" X 11" rectangle from white cardstock and fold in half to
form the card base.
2. Cut a 4" X 5 1/4" square from the "Rough and Tough" patterned
paper and mount on the front of the card.
3. Cut banner shapes from the "Adventure" and "Gears" patterned
paper. Mount them on the card, overlapping each banner slightly.
4. Mount a piece of the gears "Decorative Tape" on the left side of
the banners.

5. Add stickers from the "Element" and "Alpha" sticker sheets on the
card. Use adhesive foam squares to mount some of the stickers.
6. Mount chipboard stickers from the "Chipboard Accents" sheet onto
the card. Thread jute twine through one of the buttons and mount
on the card with adhesive foam squares.
7. Mount a Decorative Brad on the card.
