POETIC DEVICES
Assonance is the repetition of vowel-sounds within non-rhyming words.
Example: Here is an example from Edgar Allan Poes poem, Annabel Lee:
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling, my darling, my life and my bride.

Consonance is the repetition of consonant sounds within words, but not
