Job Description:
The front desk clerk or assistant is responsible for greeting and monitoring visitors and for
providing assistance to customers. Job duties include checking in and out guests, helping
customers with questions, answering the phones and performing front desk related administrative
tasks. Front desk employees must have excellent English, a clean and impeccable appearance
and exceptional customer service skills.
Participants may also be required to conduct restaurant cashier duties. As a cashier, participants
will be responsible for taking payment for items customers wish to purchase or for receiving
payment for admission. This position requires a strong understanding of U.S. currency, and the
ability to work a computer based system and/or a credit card machine. Participants must be
patient, optimistic and cheerful to perform this job successfully and must have excellent English
and customer service skills.

Participants will be housed in a series of shared houses. These houses

range anywhere from a studio (for two participants), to a 3-bedroom
house. Each bedroom will have between 2-4 participants, and each
participant will have their own bed. There will be a shared bathroom,
shared kitchen, and a living room with a TV in each house. The housing
is not coed.
Participants must immediately move out if they are not working for the
hotel. Smoking is NOT ALLOWED in the housing.
Units are between 0-1.5 miles from work. Participants can walk and in
some cases bike to work.
