o Resourceful problem solver: During my Student Internship Program (SIP) I
answered a client’s website requirement - developed the code to redirect his pipe
organ customers from his old website to his new website; This result in customer
retention and redirect of potential new clients
o Dedicated team player: Helped improved Drama Club attendance by creating and
distributing, flyers, posters, emailings, and announcements of weekly club
meetings; Club attendance increased over 300%
o Perceptive listener and adherence instructions: While working at Sam’s Club, I
was responsible for checking customer receipts for those exiting with packages-
anyone exiting without a receipt was redirected to customer service; This resulted
in fewer items taken out of the store without a purchase receipt
o Accepts and uses criticism: Used both positive and negative feedback on my SIP
project to develop a usable pictures webpage; the website is now available for
customer use
o Strong conflict resolution skills: By living on campus, I learned how to work with
other students with differing personalities, lifestyles, and disabilities; This
experience resulted in stronger coping skills and a greater awareness of others
o Always eager to learn: Learned Leather Crafting – Made keychains, bracelets, and
belts for family members and personal use; This newly learned skill added a sense
of accomplishment and increased independence

STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (SIP) – FREELANCE PROJECT
• Commissioned to edit the company’s website: Created new web pages using Adobe
Dreamweaver, developed the code to redirect customers from the old website to the
new website, made the website more client editable, uploaded the entire website to a
new server, and communicated directly with the client to develop the desired results;
My efforts on this project helped to develop a less confusing website, helped the
company present a more professional appearance, and helped the client in retaining
current customers and serving new customers
