Christmas is a lie

How much do we really love Jesus? Are we willing to go all the way with him?
Are we really willing to take up our cross daily, denying ourselves, and following after him?
Is God our Lord?
Yes there are people who are genuine Christians, who have a lack of discernement, but how much of it is
lack of discerment, or just plain disobedience ?
Do we care about what God thinks, because if we do not, or are careless in our walk with God, I seriously
think you should check your salvation, so to see if it's even there , or if you have been backslidding, or
whatever the case may be.
God saved us for a purpose, and it's not for the sake of us remaining like we were in the world, but God has
made us to be "new creastures" in Christ Jesus.
Old things "are" passed away, all things "are" become new.
If you have Christ in you, you will change, for it is impossible to have Christ in us, and not have a change in
our lives. Yes we may change gradually from faith to faith, but we will change, and if there is no change,
well are you saved in the first place, and is Christ really in you ?
If we claim to love God, then we should be concerned about what God thinks about things, we should be
concerned about the mind of Christ !!!!!!!
Now let us go to our first scripture.
John 3:16-21
(16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be
saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he
hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than
light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be
reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in
God.)
If you believe on him, you are not condemned, but if you don't you are, you bring yourself under
condemnation by rejecting the light, by rejecting truth, which is in Christ Jesus !!!
And the word is made alive in the person of Christ Jesus, for Jesus is the word, the living word !!!
So why am I saying all of this, seeing that I have called this study "Christmas is a lie" ?
I am saying all of this, for the sake of first building upon the foundation of the gospel, pointing to how God
1 / 13

is, and what God thinks, and with that in mind, let us proceed unto what is the mind of Christ concerning
christmas, and what does God say things are, how does God see things ?
First of all, were does the word "Christmas" come from ?
Well let us go check information, that talks about historical facts about christmas.
And what I will quote next, is from the encyclopedia Wikipedia, which does have good information,
concerning this issue of Christmas, but older encyclopedias, such as older Britannica, and Americana,
encyclopedias, seem to add more detailed information (which I have read many times).
(Encyclopedia Wikipedia, the word "Christmas")
(The word "Christmas" originated as a compound meaning "Christ's mass". It is derived from the Middle
English Cristemasse, which is from Old English Crstesmsse, a phrase first recorded in 1038.
[6] Crst (genitive Crstes) is from Greek Khrstos (), a translation of Hebrew Ma (),
"Messiah"; and msse is from Latin missa, the celebration of the Eucharist.
The form "Christenmas" was also historically used, but is now considered archaic and dialectal;[21] it
derives from Middle English Cristenmasse, literally "Christian mass".
[22] "Xmas" is an abbreviation of Christmas found particularly in print, based on the initial letter chi () in
Greek Khrstos (), "Christ", though numerous style guides discourage its use;
[23] it has precedent in Middle English fges masse (where "fg" is an abbreviation for f).[22])
So the word "Christmas" originated as a compound meaning "Christ's mass" , so it literally means: "Christ's
mass" and pointed to the celebration of the eucharist, which really points to the Catholic mass.
So that is what the word "Christmas" means, which is the "mass of Christ" or "Christ's mass".
Now what does the word "mass" mean, and what is the celebration of the mass ?
Does God approve of the celebration of the mass ? Or does God reject it's celebration, and what does God
call his meetings or gatherings ?
(Encyclopedia Wikipedia (definition of word: "mass" (liturgy)))
(..."Mass" is one of the names by which the sacrament of the Eucharist is called in the Roman Catholic
Church: others are "Eucharist", the "Lord's Supper", the "Breaking of Bread", the "Eucharistic assembly
(synaxis)", the "memorial of the Lord's Passion and Resurrection", the "Holy Sacrifice", the "Holy and
Divine Liturgy" and "Holy Communion".
[1] The term "Mass" is one of the most common in connection with Catholic Latin liturgical rites. It is used
also of similar celebrations in Old Catholic Churches, in the Anglo-Catholic tradition of Anglicanism, in
Western Rite Orthodox Churches, and in some Lutheran churches. For the celebration of the Eucharist in
Eastern churches, including those in full communion with the Holy See, other terms such as the Divine
Liturgy, the Holy Qurbana and the Badarak are normal. Most Western denominations not in full communion
with the Roman Catholic Church also usually prefer terms other than "Mass". ...
...The term "Mass" is derived from the Late Latin word missa (dismissal), a word used in the concluding
formula of Mass in Latin: "Ite, missa est" ("Go; it is the dismissal").[2][3] "In antiquity, missa simply meant
'dismissal'. In Christian usage, however, it gradually took on a deeper meaning. The word 'dismissal' has
come to imply a 'mission'. These few words succinctly express the missionary nature of the Church" (Pope
Benedict XVI, Sacramentum caritatis, 51 )...)
So the word "mass" means a "dismissal" , now what does God call his meetings ?
2 / 13

Does he call it a "mass" ? Or something else ?

Now remember that we are seeking God's mind on the matter, and not your mind on the matter.
Let us go to scriptures.
Hebrews 10:25
(25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one
another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
So God calls his meetings, an assembling of oursleves together, or a gathering, he does not call it a
"dismissal", but rather a "gathering", which is the opposite of a dismissal, or being dismissed.
Now this is what "assembling of ourselves together" in Hebrews 10:25, means, in the Strong's concordance,
in the Greek language.
(Strong's concordance)
(G1997

episunagoge
ep-ee-soon-ag-o-gay'
From G1996; a complete collection; specifically a Christian meeting (for worship): - assembling
(gathering) together.)
So the word "mass" in what it means, is the opposite of what God calls his meetings, which are "gatherings".
So in knowing this, let us go even further, so to see if God is well pleased with the mass, and what it is all
about.
Now what is the "mass" ?
(Encyclopedia Britannica word "mass")
(mass, celebration of the sacrament of the Eucharist in the Roman Catholic Church. The term mass is derived
from the rites Latin formula of dismissal, Ite, missa est (Go, it is ended). The mass is a memorial of the
sacrifice of Jesus Christ through the Crucifixion. According to church teaching, the mass is a true sacrifice in
which the body and blood of Jesus, under the appearances of bread and wine, are offered to God (see also
transubstantiation).)
Now it is very well known that the celebration of the eucharist, or mass, in the Catholic church, is celebrated
in such a way as to were they say that the bread and the wine, transforms itself in the literal body, and literal
blood of Christ, which is what the doctrine of transubstantiation is.
So does the sacrament, in the bible, of taking the bread and wine so to represent Christ's body and blood,
really turn into the real body and blood of Christ ?
Well what does the word of God say ?
1 Corinthians 11:24-25
(24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you:
3 / 13

this do in remembrance of me.

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament
in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.)
Yes the word of God says "this is my body and blood" , but then it goes on further, so to say, do this in
remembrance of me !!!!!!!
If Jesus wants us to eat the bread and drink the wine in remembrance of him, then is the bread and the wine
literally him ?
Well of course not, because Jesus is not bread or wine, but rather he is God, and if the bread and wine does
literally turn into him, then it should taste like him, but obviously it does not taste like his blood or body, and
the very fact that he tells us to do this in remembrance of him, or to remember him by, shows us that it does
not literally turn into him; he brought us this sacrament so we can remember him by these elements of the
bread and wine, in what he done for us through his body and blood, in dying for us on the cross; so these
sacraments, are for us to remember him by, so our minds are focused on the right thing (the cross), and not
for any other reason.
So when we twist the word of God, in saying that the bread and wine turns into the literal body and blood of
Jesus, when God says to just do this in remembrance of him, then we are turning this sacrament into
something that it was never intented for, what we are doing is taking the bread and wine and turning it into
God !!!!!!!
So we are making an idol, out of the bread and wine, which is an abomination to God !!!!!!!!
So you see how horrible that is ???????
How it hurts the heart of God !!!!!!!
So if it hurts the heart of God, then it's an abomination to God.
So now we get to my next question, is God well pleased, when we associate the word "MASS" with the word
"CHRIST" ?
And what does God call Jesus' birthday ?
Well let us first start with the second question, "what does God call Jesus' birthday" ?
Matthew 1:18
(18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph,
before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.)
Well God's word calls it "the birth of Jesus" !!!!!!!
That should be a big revelation to people, since most people call Jesus' birth "christmas", but God calls it
"Jesus' birth", hmmm !!!!!!!!
Why justify something that is not scriptural ???????
And yes I know that people say that, " Well in the dictionary, it says that Christmas means 'the birth of Christ'
' , and that " the meaning of christmas has evolved " , but remember that we are solely seeking the mind of
Christ here, not any others opinion, and God never called Jesus' birth christmas , why didn't he? Just simply
4 / 13

because it was not called that, and to associate the name Christ , with the word mass, how can you do that ?
Isn't Christ's name worth more to you ?
Does God hate idols or not ?
Well let us go to the mind of Christ, which is the word of God.
Exodus 32:17-28
(17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of
war in the camp.
18 And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for
being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing:
and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and
strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
21 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon
them?
22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on
mischief.
23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that
brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
24 And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it
into the fire, and there came out this calf.
25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame
among their enemies:)
26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD'S side? let him come unto me.
And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go
in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his
companion, and every man his neighbour.
28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about
three thousand men.)
So when Moses saw the golden calf, which was an idol, what did he do? He was so angry with them, he
ground it to powder; he destroyed it.
And I know that Moses had the mind of Christ on this matter, but is there a specific scripture which shows
what God would do , or tell someone to do, towards an idol ?
Micah 5:13
(13 Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt
no more worship the work of thine hands.)
Ezekiel 30:13
(13 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of
Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.)
It's obvious here, that God wants idols destroyed or cut off !!!
5 / 13

God does not want idols to be evolved into something else, but rather destroyed, just like in a same manner,
God wants the old man (our old selves, with the sin nature) dead, he does not want the old man to be
improved, but rather he says to put off the old man and his deeds, to totally put him off, not to evolve him,
and that we put on the new man.
Colossians 3:9-10
(9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:)
One is to be put off (the old man), and one is to be put on (the new man).
Well in the same manner, idols are to be put off, not improved upon, and of course God's ways are to be put
on.
And we seen that the mass (making the eucharist into a God) is an abomination to God, so why would we
attach this word (mass) to Christ's name ?
Put off the idol, not attach it to Christ's name.
Does God put value in what he calls things ?
Well let us see examples of certain feast days which he established under the old covenant, to see if God puts
meaning to these days.
Leviticus 23:5
(5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover.)
Now we will go to the Strong's concordance, so to see what the word passover meant.
(Strong's concordance, word passover)
(H6453

pesach
peh'-sakh
From H6452; a pretermission, that is, exemption; used only technically of the Jewish Passover (the festival or
the victim): - passover (offering).)
So you can see that the word "passover" had meaning to it, and it pointed to the one who would be our
ultimate sin offering, which is Jesus Christ.
Now let us go unto another scripture.
Leviticus 23:27-28
(27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy
convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls,
and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you
before the LORD your God.)
6 / 13

Now let us go to the Strong's concordance, which concerns the word "atonement", so to see what it means in
the Greek.
(Strong's concordance, word atonement)
(H3725

kippur
kip-poor'
From H3722; expiation (only in plural): - atonement.)
Who atoned for our sins? It's obvious that it is Christ Jesus, and his blood cleanses all our sins away !!!
So God is a God of meaning, he does not use words carelessly, and yes he does care, but alot of people who
call themselves Christians today, really do not care, which shows a lack of love for God.
God has value to his words and what he names things, but alot of times, Christians, or people who call
themselves Christians, do not value the name of Christ very much, or even the name Jesus.
God says this:
Exodus 20:7
(7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless
that taketh his name in vain.)
It says not to take the name of the Lord thy God in vain, and if you do, you won't be held guiltless !!!!!!!
guitless !!!!!!! guitless !!!!!!!
That is very serious !!!!!!!
You cannot attach idol worship (the mass) , to the name of Christ, it should never be done as a Christian.
Now some might say well the word mass, only means a dismissal, well yes the actual meaning of the word, is
dismissal, and yes you can be dismissed from a Christian meeting, but we as Christians, do not call our
meetings, dismissals, but rather gatherings, for why would we gather for the sake of being dismissed ?
A dismissal in and of itself, is basically an almost opposite to gathering, and even then the celebration of the
mass is an abomination to God in the first place, and really, is it a coincidence that mass, has an opposite
meaning to what God calls a Christian meeting, which is a gathering ?
Satan often times does the opposite of what God does.
Now what about the day chosen as Christmas, which in the Roamn calendar, is December 25th, how was that
chosen ?
(...The nearer aspects of the Christmas tradition have their roots in Roman custom and religion. The earliest
reference to Christmas as being observed on December 25 comes from the second century after Jesus birth
(note the word century - this means nearly 200 years after His birth). It is likely that the first Christmas
7 / 13

celebrations were in reaction to the Saturnalia - a Roman harvest festival that marked the winter solstice - the
return of the sun - and in honor of Saturn, the god of sowing and agriculture. Saturnalia was a rowdy festival.
It is believed that Christmas developed as a means of replacing worship of the sun with worship of the Son.
At the Saturnalia, all classes of people exchanged gifts, the commonest being waxed tapers (candles) and
clay dolls. These dolls represented original sacrifices of human beings.
In The Catholic Encyclopedias article entitled Christmas we learn that Christmas was not among the
earliest festivals of the Church. Irenaeus and Tertullian omit it from their lists of feasts....
.......There is absolutely no record in the Bible of anyone observing Christmas. There is not even a hint of
a Christmas celebration or anything remotely like it. When we consider the customs associated with
Christmas we have to ask ourselves just what do decorated evergreen trees, holly, mistletoe, Yule logs, a
jolly plump man in a red suit, sleighs, and flying reindeer have to do with the birth of Jesus Christ? The
answer is nothing - absolutely nothing. However, these things do have a lot to do with ancient pagan
festivals.
...The word Christmas came into use through the medieval custom of the Roman Church celebrating
Mass at midnight on the eve of December 25 - the only time in the year when this was permitted.
...December 25 was the very day and season on which the pagans for centuries had celebrated the birth
of the Sun-gods.... That the various sun gods which were worshipped in different countries were all believed
to have been born at the same season would seem to indicate that they were but different forms under
different names of the original son of the Sun-god: Tammuz of Babylon - the land from which sun
worship originally spread. In Babylon, the birthday of Tammuz was celebrated at the time of the winter
solstice with great feasts, revelry, and drunkenness. The nativity worship of the sun-god, the hidden god
Tammuz (also known as Nimrod), was performed with carved idol images that were set up in chamber
rooms (manger scene sets) and prayed to. The figures in the modern nativity sets have been given
Christian names such as Mary, Joseph, Three Wise Men, shepherds, etc., but these are only an evolved
corruption of the real representation of Tammuz worship.)
Now there is other historical information I can get, but the date chosen (December 25th) corresponded more
to the celebration of the birth of the sun god, or sun gods, rather than the birth of Jesus, they took the date of
these pagan celebrations, of their sun god's birthdays, and then attached it to Jesus, so to say that, that is when
Jesus was born, which eventually became known as christmas.
Now it is well known (which many preachers attest) that Jesus was not born on December 25th, which many
believe he was born somewhere in the fall, maybe on what is either called September or October, but the date
of Decmeber 25th, was very obviously taken from pagan worship.
Now noyone of course really knows the exact day Jesus was born
Now some might say, well what does it matter, if we celebrate Jesus' birth on December 25th ?
Well it does matter in more ways than one, especially because of what christmas has become.
First of all, people say that Jesus is the reason for the season, but the truth is, is that Jesus is not the reason for
the season, but rather lying about Jesus is the reason for the season, and do not tell me that all this
commercialism, and christmas trees and presents are all about Jesus, and people say it's suppose to be Jesus'
birthday !!!!!!!
Why do I say, that christmas is (in part) all about lying about Jesus ?
Well let us go to these lies, and you will see what I mean.
8 / 13

Now first of all, the true definition of the word mass, is dismissal, and it points to the Catholic celebration of
the eucharist.
But the worldy definition of the word christmas, is this, that it is the celebration of Jesus' birth, which is held
on December 25th.
December 25th has been associated with the word christmas for a long time, so much so that they say that
December 25th was the day that Jesus was born, and that is what is meant by Jesus' being born on christmas
day.
Even though alot of preachers know that Jesus was not born on December 25th, they still ritualistically
mention how Christ was born on christmas day, which christmas day has long been known to be December
25th.
So here are the lies.
1rst lie: Jesus was born on christmas day (December 25th).
2nd lie: Jesus' birth is called christmas.
3rd lie: God does not care if we call Jesus' birth christmas.
4th lie: christmas is about Jesus.
Everything about christmas is a lie, basically everything !!!!!!!
Now what about christmas trees ?
Jeremiah 10:2-4
(2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for
the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of
the workman, with the axe.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.)
God says learn not the way of the heathen, were they cut trees and deck them with gold and silver, if God
says learn not, then we should just obey God and learnt not the way of the heathen and that's it, but in truth,
how much do we really fear God, how much do we want to play around with his word ?
Should we try and find out how close we can get to the fence without falling, or should we just remain in the
borders of the fence ?
And first of all, the tree which is set up at christmas, is called the "christmas tree" which is mixing the name
of Christ, with the name which points to the idol worship of the eucharist, which is the mass.
Is the christmas tree, really and truthfully an idol ???
Is the christmas tree, really about Christ ???
Instead of playing around with God, let us care about what he thinks, God hates idol worship; and christmas
trees, really take away attention from Christ, but irregardless to this, christmas is not about Christ, but rather
it is about lying about Christ, and taking his name in vain.
9 / 13

It's about disrespecting Christ, rather than truthfully respecting him, in an honest, God fearing, name
honouring, heart.
What ever happened to purity, to knowing whom we worship, and understanding our way ???
Before I close this message, I want to just mention a few more things, and one thing that I want to mention,
concerns, God's way of doing things, vs one of Satan's way of doing things.
God's way

Satan's way

-God calls the day Jesus was

born, "Jesus' birth".
-God calls Christan meetings,
gatherings.
- God says to learn not the way
of the heathen, who cut trees
and deck them with gold etc.
-God says not to take his name
in vain.
-God is a God of meaning, and
he cares.

-Satan calls Jesus birth,

"christmas".
- One of Satan's meetings is
called the mass (dismissals).
-Satan says, learn the way of
the heathen, cut trees, deck
them with gold, and call them
christmas trees.
-Satan says to take God's name
in vain, attach the word mass to
it.
-Satan does not care, who cares
about what you attach to
Christ's name.

Do you see the opposites here, have your eyes been opened ?
Do you see the trap the enemy has gotten you in ? Or are you still blind to it ?
Or do you even care about understanding your way or pathway ?
Which one is it ?
So now let us go unto our last subject, concerning this issue of christmas.
Right now we will go unto the scriptures.
Colossians 2:14-16
(14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it
out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or
of the sabbath days:)
Now some people , who read this scripture , will use it as a defence , concerning christmas , which they
would say: "do not judge someone in respect of an holyday, christmas is an holyday, therefore you have no
right to judge us, in observing this day".
10 / 13

But the truth is , is that true ?

Well we have clearly concluded that christmas is not an holy day , but rather it is a pagan day, filled with lies,
deception, and people take Christ's name in vain , during this time.
It's not Godly at all !!!!!!!
It's not Christ honouring, in a genuine way, and in truth, there isn't much anointing to christmas services in
the first place , as compared to regular services , you feel the ritualistic atmosphere , which is not based on
truly knowing and understanding what they are doing, but rather it is more ritualistic and traditional.
It gives not much room for the Holy Ghost to move and truly lead the people.
And people who use this Colossians scripture that we just mentioned, in this kind of way, do not much
understand what this scripture is really talking about.
Now let us go step by step , in what this scripture is truly talking about.
Now in verse 16 , it says: "Let no man "therefore" judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an
holyday, or of the new moon, or the sabbath days" .
Notice the word "therefore" in this scripture , why is it there ? And what does it mean ? And what is it
pointing to ?
Well the reason why the word "therefore" is there, is because it is obviously pointing us to something , that
was mentioned in previous scriptures , in order for things to be so.
For the word therefore means: because of, which shows us, because of this or that reason , you should not
judge people in meats, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday etc.
So now the question remains, in what way are we not to judge someone in respect of meats, an holyday etc. ?
And also what is this because of, referring to ?
Well "therefore" or "because of" is referring to things mentioned especially in verses 14 and 15.
Now the reason verse 16 mentions let no man therefore judge you in meats and drinks , is because of Christ
having blotted out the handwritting of ordinances etc. .
All the things mentioned in verse 16 , such as not judging concerning meats, drinks, holydays, sabbath days ,
and new moons , are referring to ordinances which were applied during old testament times, but now have
been blotted out of the way.
It's not talking about meats and drinks perse, but rather it is talking about meat ordinances, which one meat
ordinance that they had under the old covenant, was things such as eating clean meats, and not eating unclean
meats, which in some fashion represented sin vs righteousness, the clean vs the unclean .
Also it is not referring to drinks perse, but rather a drink ordinance, which one drink ordinance that certain
peticular people had on their lives, under the old covenant, was the Nazarite vow , which under this vow you
were not allowed to drink from the grape , wether it be grape juice or whatever, nor could you even eat of the
grape.
So as a result of , Christ blotting out the handwritting of ordinances etc., therefore you ought not judge
11 / 13

someone in respect to these ordinances , which concern meat ordinances, drink ordinances , holydays (which
were given by God under the old covenant) , the new moons , the sabbath days (the 7th day of the week
sabbath and the other extra sabbaths such as the day of atonement etc.)
At that time , there were obviously people who were trying to bring these ordinances in the church , maybe
even in some cases , not realising that these ordinances have been blotted out of the way , they were judging
people in such a way, that they were saying to people that they have to keep the old testament meat
ordinances, drink ordinances, the various holydays God had set up , and the various sabbath days , God had
set up , not realising that all of these things were done away with ; for now Christ has come , and all these
ordinances , in some way or form , especially the various holydays and sabbath days (plural) , pointed to
Christ , and Christ came to fulfil the law, Christ became these ordinances in one form or another , in a living
way.
Christ has become our passover lamb (the day of passover) , Christ was our atonement for sin (the day of
atonement) etc. etc. etc.
Christ is these feasts , but in a living way , and the way we keep these feasts under the new covenant , is not
by observing these feast days as they did under the old covenant , but rather it is by allowing for God to work
his salvation in us, it is to allow the passover lamb to work his salavtion in us , it is to allow the atoner for
sins to wash our sins away , it is to allow the clean to be part of our lives (through Jesus Christ) , and the
unclean to stay out of our lives , etc. etc. etc.
So now today , under the new covenant , we keep the feasts in a spiritual manner, by allowing what these
feasts pointed to (which is Christ Jesus) , to work in our lives.
So this scripture has absolutely nothing to do with not judging someone concerning the observance of
christmas, which never was an ordinance of God, and first of all, christmas is not an holyday to begin with.
Now if someone wants to keep some of the old testament feasts , under the new covenant , that is their choice
, but as long as they do not totally do so to the point of having back animal sacrifices or such things , and as
long as they do not do so as a commandment , and tell others they have to do so, under the new covenant, for
all of these things have been blotted out !!!!!!!
We obey these things now in a living way, and not in a physical way.
Now some might say well does that mean we do not have to obey the 10 commandments anymore ?
No by all means no , and these ordinances perse are talking about the meat ordinances, the drink ordinances ,
the various holy days of the old testament, and the various sabbath days (plural) , they had under the old
covenant , but it is not talking about the 10 commandments.
Now we do not have life in the 10 commandments, for there is no life at all in them , but we have life in a
person , and his name is Christ Jesus , and it is through him , that we have the ability needed , to were it
glorifies God , that enables us to obey the 10 commandments.
It's by his grace , through faith.
It's by allowing Christ to live in us , and through us , which enables the 10 commandments , to flow in a
living way through us , just walking in the love of Jesus.
So we can see that this scripture in Colossians has nothing to do with defending one's stance on christmas
keeping.

We are not christmas keepers , but rather Jesus adorers !!!

And now in many churches , christmas as even become as a type of commandment , and if you do not
celebrate it , you will gradually be rejected by the people of the church , yes including even some pastors !!!
Trust me , some pastors have made christmas a commandment , and I have seen it first hand !!!
I pray that every one who reads this study , that it may speak to the depths of your heart , and the core of your
being.
I would almost beg you to receive thiss message , because it would do you alot of good , not because I am
