From the owner: ln 1 91 5, prominent rancher/banker William J. Lewis secured architect Hal Thomas to build a Southern mansion for William's 20year-old bride, Willie Newbury Lewis. Miss Willie was one of Dallas' first debutantes.
This tradition of romance and elegance continues today as people from all overthe country make Aldredge House a part oftheir own personal

The Aldredge House, 5500 Swiss Avenue, is next door to me. I share a property
line with the Aldredge House.

weddings has an adverse effect on my property for the reasons articulated in

and the cheering from the wedding frequently rattles the windows of our home.

Frequently, speakers will get moved outside of the Aldredge House and either the
toasts or the music

will blast into the backyard, which then is heard from

inside

my home.

The parties have a large number of guests, and the guests' cars are parked up and

down Swiss Avenue, Parkmont, and Bryan Street. The valets for the Aldredge
House place orange cones in front of my home so that wedding attendees cannot

park there. However, band members are usually the first to arive prior to

wedding or event, and they frequently park their old cars in front of my home.

Additionally, valets sometimes fail to remove the orange cones from in front of
my home after an event, creating a spectacle for those who drive and walk by the
next day. I have attached photos of this as Exhibit
