Math- Review addition and subtraction with
regrouping in the ones, tens, hundreds, and
thousands place
Math Assessment Friday: Rounding to nearest
tens and hundreds with 3-digit and 4-digit numbers;
Addition and subtraction with regrouping across
multiple place values
Reading- Reading Assessment: Retelling with
details, making connections to books and
characters; Text-to-Text, Text-to-Self, Text-to-world
connections
Writing- Publishing: Fictional Narrative Writing
Science Heat, Energy, Friction, conduction,
convection, radiation
Social Studies Review Historical Figures: Paul
Revere, Frederick Douglass, and Susan B. Anthony,

Addition and Subtraction Math Facts
Game Day Incentive September 23rd

Students who have passed their addition and


subtraction timed tests will receive game time.
A specific amount of game time will be based
off which tests they have passed. Students
who have completed test #3 will receive 20
minutes, test #4 40 minutes, and test #5 will
receive all 60 minutes. Students will have until
next Wednesday to pass tests, so please
encourage your child and help them practice
their facts in order to reach their goals!

-write each word 2 times each
- write all words in ABC order
-write a creative short story using all your
words (it may be kind of goofy)
