The application process

Admission to the international Games Studies is attained by following a *5 easy steps* process.
Should you be interested in applying for either Module I or Module II you are only a few steps away from joining the International Game
Studies. If you are aiming for the Masters Degree the steps are more you must complete but in general the biggest step is to evaluate if
you have the ambition and motivation to take on the challenge of an intense year aiming for the international game development scene.
The eyes of the industry will be upon you and your fellow team members will come to rely on you, so the course is a time for focus and
engagement. Once you have decided that you up for the task, these are the steps you will need to take:

01. Read the information on page 3 in this document carefully.
02. Fill out the corresponding application formula found in this document. Complete a formula for each or both the Modules you wish to apply for.
03. Contact your previous educational institutions and have them send STAMPED AND SIGNED copies to you, or request that they send official
transcripts of your high school/upper secondary certificate including your grades directly to the University of Gotland. Please note that
University transcripts must be in English as well as in their original language. These documents must be sent to the University of Gotland
together with, or with reference to, your application. We recommend that the envelope clearly states it contains documents related to you.
04. If you have not graduated from an EU, Canadian or US territory High school you will need to take a TOEFL, or similar, English
proficiency test. The result of this test must be validated by an official authority and send together with the application. Such official
authentication may in many cases be obtained via the Swedish embassy in your country of residence.
05. Address all documents from your various educational institutions and – if relevant – the validated result of your language test, together with
the completed and signed application formulary to the following address:

01. Read the information on page 3 carefully.
02. Fill out the corresponding Masters Degree Programme application formula found in this document.
03. Contact your previous educational institutions and have them send you STAMPED AND SIGNED copies or request official transcripts
of your academic merit and grades be send directly to the University of Gotland. If applying for the Masters Degree Programme it is prerequisite
that you can prove you hold a Bachelor Degree of no less than 180 ECTS and you must include a full transcript of all courses / credits contained
in the Degree. Please note that University transcripts must be in English as well as in their original language.
These documents must be sent to the University of Gotland together with, or with reference to, your application. We therefore recommend that
the envelope clearly states it contains documents related to you.

Course Module II

y When applying for Module II: Print the correlating formulary found on page: 06 & 07. Then fill in the requested personal data, date and sign it.

Masters Degree Programme

y When applying for the Masters Degree Programme: Print the correlating formulary found on page: 08 & 09. Then fill in the requested personal
data, date and sign it.

General
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
y Provide the previously defined documents. Either by requesting your educational institution to send them directly to the University of Gotland or
by retrieving STAMPED and SIGNED copies. Such copies must be sent with original stamps and signatures.
y Secure all envelopes sent by you, or on your behalf, clearly state: REGARDING | your name | on the back.
