8. Providing and laying of well graded
granular material for sub base consisting
of sand, gravel, crushed stone, crushed
slag, brick metal, laterite, kanker etc. as
per grading given in table 400-1 of the
specifications and compacting to the
required density as per I.S. 2720 (Part-8)
with 8-10 tonne roller in 150 mm thick
layers in all seasons, maintaining the
