25TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR B - SEPTEMBER 20, 2015

1st Reading: Wisdom 2:12, 17-20

(Ungodly men said :) Let us lie in wait for the
righteous man, because he is inconvenient to us and
opposes our actions; he reproaches us for sins against
the law, and accuses us of sins against our training.
Let us see if his words are true, and let us test what
will happen at the end of his life; for if the righteous
man is Gods Son, he will help him, and will deliver
him from the hand of his adversaries. Let us test him
with insult and torture, that we may find out how
gentle he is, and make trial of his forbearance. Let us
condemn him to a shameful death, for, according to
what he says, he will be protected.

2nd Reading: Epistle of St. James 3:16-4:3
Beloved: where jealousy and selfish ambition
exist, there will also be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then
peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and
good fruits, without uncertainty or insincerity. And
the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for
those who make peace. What causes wars, and what
causes fighting among you? Is it not your passions
that are at war in your members? You desire and do
Glory to God!
Greetings to everyone in the name of Jesus
Christ. The idea of introducing parish bulletin, we
had since last year and this dream came true today.
I encourage all adults to take bulletin at entrance of
the church and go through it for the readings of the
day and announcements. Please file them for at
least one year. Please bring your official announcements like: SCC meetings, group meetings, special
events, seminars etc., at least one week before the
events. Please remember that if we leave bulletin
on road side or church compound we are bringing
negative impression on our own parish. If anyone
has suggestions for the better presentation of the
bulletin, please feel free to contact Fr. In charge.
Parish Family Day: I would like to welcome all
parishioners for the Family Day celebration at Kalimoni next Sunday (September 27); your presence
is the happiness of our family. We appreciate if all

will rise. But they did not understand the saying,
and they were afraid to ask him. And they came to
Capernaum; and when he was in the house he asked
them, What were you discussing on the way? But
they were silent, for on the way they had discussed
with one another who was the greatest. And he sat
down and called the Twelve, and he said to them, If
anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all. And he took a child and put him in the
midst of them; and taking him in his arms, he said to
them, Whoever receives one such child in my name
receives me, and whoever receives me receives not
me but him who sent me.

Almighty God, Your children of St. Theresas family, thank
and worship you for all Your blessings granted to us for the
past one year. We pray for your blessing on all who share in
the life and work of our parish. Bless our parish community
with unity and keep it always happy. In poverty and wealth,
in sickness and good health, and in loss or gain may we always praise your name. Bless all the members that they may
earnestly strive to avoid the occasion of sin; that they may
not fail each day, to take up their cross and follow your way.
Jesus our Lord, visit all the families of our parish as you visited the house of Zachaeus; Jesus our Healer, touch all the
sick; Jesus our provider, satisfy every need of our families;
Jesus our joy, fill the frustrated hearts with your joy; Merciful Lord, have mercy on all sinners; Jesus friend of children,
bring our children under your might protection. Holy Spirit

Walitoka huko, wakapita katikati ya Galilaya;
Yesu hakutaka mtu kujua. Kwa sababu alikuwa akiwafundisha wanafunzi wake, akawaambia, Mwana
wa Adamu yuaenda kutiwa katika mikono ya watu,
nao watamwua; hata akiisha kuuawa, baada ya siku
tatu atafufuka. Lakini hawakulifahamu neno lile, wakaogopa kumwuliza. Wakafika Kapernaumu; hata
alipokuwamo nyumbani, akawauliza, Mlishindania
nini njiani? Wakanyamaza; kwa maana njiani walikuwa wakibishana wao kwa wao, ni nani aliye
mkubwa. Akaketi chini, akawaita wale Thenashara
akawaambia, Mtu atakaye kuwa wa kwanza atakuwa
wa mwisho kuliko wote, na mtumishi wa wote.
Akatwaa kitoto, akamweka katikati yao, akamkumbatia, akawaambia, Mtu akimpokea mtoto mmoja wa
namna hii kwa jina langu, anipokea mimi, na mtu
akinipokea mimi, humpokea, si mimi, bali yeye aliyenituma.
