A. Remarks
Remarks to LINGO 11.0: the objective function and constraints must be terminated with
a semicolon. All expressions between an exclamation mark and a semicolon are not
part of the model. Here, the objective function and the constraints are numbered as in
the article. By default, all variables are assumed as non-negative and continuous.
However, binary variables can be considered with the @bin function. The syntax is as
follows:
@bin(variable_name);
All calculations were executed using the optimization software package LINGO 11.0
(LINDO 2007) on an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 PC with a 3 GHz CPU, 1333 MHz Front-
Side-bus, 12 MB cache and 4 GB memory. During each execution, the aforementioned
PC was exclusively used for the calculation of only one scenario.
All solver status windows generated during the optimizations and the RF-heuristics are
documented by screenshots. The solution reports of the optimizations as well as the
final solution reports of the RF-heuristics are also documented. In contrast, the values
of the binary variables computed in the intermediate steps of the RF-heuristics are not
recorded. At any time, they can be handed in later.

Corresponding to the subsets S1 and S2, the binary constraints (15) to (18) in the
MSPSDS-SF model (see pp. 5 – 21) are grouped into the constraints (19) and (20).
The RF-heuristics differ in the sequence of relaxing binary constraints and fixing binary
variables.
Note: the binary variables s_6_1, s_6_2 and s_6_3 in subset S1 are only required in
the scenarios 12 to 22.

Corresponding to the subsets S3, S4 and S5, the binary constraints (15) to (18) in the
MSPSDS-SF model (see pp. 5 – 21) are grouped into the constraints (21) to (23). The
RF-heuristics differ in the sequence of relaxing binary constraints and fixing binary
variables.
Note: the binary variables s_6_1, s_6_2 and s_6_3 in subset S3 are only required in
the scenarios 12 to 22.
