Youth In Action 3.

1 Youth Exchange

14.-23.3.2010 Brno, Czech Republic

... because human rights matter.
„Human is the reason, human is the answer!“ brings together four countries: Armenia, Czech
Republic, Georgia and Turkey to share our opinions and discuss about human rights in our
countries. Through non-formal education we will not only have fun and develop ourselves, but
also try to find a way how to be contributing in our society and participate on issues around us.

Programme and activities

During the project time, we will have fun and get to know each other through non-formal
education activities, share our views and learn during human-rights orientated workshops and
learn about human-rights issues in the Czech Republic during seminar given by the leader of the
League for human rights.

You will be also able to explore culture in Brno during the visit of National opera house
(Performance: Boris Godunov by A. S. Puskin) and Brno sightseeing tour.

As a part of the project, a three-day conference will be held in cooperation with the Student
Section of International Political Institute on the Faculty of social science, Masaryk University,
where participants will share their knowledge with the students of the faculty as well as other
visitors. Human rights issues in participant countries will be introduced by the participants as well
as academic specialists from the Czech Republic.

We will also explore the beauty of our country by spending the last three days on a Czech farm in
Vysočina region (www.chalupa-vysocina.cz), where home-made food will be provided and you will
be able to explore the real village-life. We will take you for a trip to see one of the most important
Czech sights, Zelená hora monastery, listed in UNESCO cultural heritage. Last day of the project

The travel expense can be reimbursed only if we will have all the originals of the travel tickets for
return way. That means – invoices and boarding passes for the flights and original tickets for the
buses, trains, etc. Taxi we can be reimbursed only if there is no other option – we will need to
have your confirmation. Without the original invoices and tickets we can´t reimburse the money
to the leader of the group. Please, take in consideration the price limit, including bills for all travel
means used, for your group:
