Why MBA?
Many students want to pursue a postgraduate course that gives
a kick-start to their career but dont know how! For such
students, MBA is a way out!
An MBA postgrad degree can not only boost your value in the
global market but accelerate your career to unimaginable

Going for an MBA takes research and preparation.
There are different entrance exams for MBA that one can go
for. The following paragraph discusses various MBA exams and
related details.
-AIMA-MAT
All India Management Association conducts MAT (Management
Aptitude Test) four times a year February, May, September and

The exam can be taken in any mode- offline or computer-based.
The candidates applying for this test should be graduates from a
recognized university. Students pursuing their final year of
graduation may also apply.
The test is of 2 and a half hours with syllabi comprising of the
following subjects:
-Language Comprehension
-Mathematical Skills
-Data Analysis
-Intelligence and critical reasoning
-Indian and Global environment section
MAT scores are used to apply for different management colleges
that accept the score and you are good to go!!
- ATMA
ATMA stands for AIMS Test for Management Admissions.
The test is approved by the HRD ministry of government of India.
Only Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university are
eligible to appear for this exam.
140+ colleges across the nation accept ATMA scores.
The test comprises mainly of analytical, logical and verbal
reasoning.
-CAT
CAT stands for Common Admission Test. This is the most
popular entrance exam among students and professionals in

India. CAT is held annually and students who scored 50% CGPA
or equivalent are eligible to apply for the test.
It is a computer-based test since 2009. CATs syllabi tests the
students for the following subjects:
-Quantitative Ability
-Data Interpretation
-Verbal and Logical Reasoning
CAT scores are declared on their website. The site displays the
names of the students shortlisted to be interviewed for
admissions in IIMS. Interview letters are sent to shortlisted
candidates and students are then finally selected on the basis of
the interviews and respective selection procedures.
-IBSAT
IBSAT stands for IBS aptitude test which is conducted annually by
a federation of universities. The test is conducted annually in
about 100 centres all over the country.
The eligibility criteria for IBSAT is a score of 50% and above in
graduation in english medium.
ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Exam), IIFT (Indian Institute of
Foreign Trade), MAH (Maharashtra MBA common entrance
exam), NMAT (Narsee Monjee MAT), SNAP (Symbiosis National
Aptitude Test) are among other popular entrance exams for
MBA.
