CEFAS is an Argentinean-based, lime
manufacturing company that meets more than
60% of demand for lime-based construction
products in Argentina. With its strategically
located plants, CEFAS also supplies lime
products to the steel, mining, paper, water
purification, effluent treatment, sugar, tanning,
paint, and other industries in Argentina, Chile,
and Uruguay. Founded in 1995, CEFAS
currently employs 450 people and
manufactures the well-known lime mortar, El
