COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF BEOWULF

STORY

MOVIE

Our story started with Hrothgar, King

of the Danes. Hrothgar and the thanes built
the hall. Hrothgar named the Heorot.

The movie started with a feast where

there singing and drinking. Hrothgar, the
king of Danes named the New Hole Heorot.

One night, as all were sleeping, a

frightful monster, Grendel broke into the hall,
killing, and carrying away with him thirty of
seeping warriors to eat them in his lair in the
see. Nightly that situation was continued for
twelve years.

While having their feast the monster,

broke ito the hall because he is irritated by
their noise. The warriors were killed by
Grendel. The monster brought one body to
the swamp.

The last rumor about Grendel reached

Beowulf, he is a man of immense strength
and ecurage. When he heard about this story
he decided to kill the monster and free the
Danes. He had crossed the sea with fourteen
companions. He was welcomed with feasting
and story telling. When the night fell,
Beowulf and his men were left over the hall.
Beowulf expressed his intention of remaining
in the hall, he said since weapons had no
effect upon Grendel, I will fight him with my
bare hands. At night Grendel came bursting
the door inwards laughing at the flesh before
him. The monster crushed the warriors head
from limb to limb. The monster attempt to
get away from Beowulf. Grendels came to
his home there he died. Beowulf hung the
monster arm bim on the roof. Grendels
mother rushed at him on a wall. Beowulf
caught side of a magic sword.

Beowulf is now and old man. He had

reigned for fifty years, greatly beloved by his
people. One of his subjects had stumbled
upon a great treasures and had taken a
beautiful rase away with him.
That same night and the same day
the dragon, belching fire and smoke came
into the village and kill all people in Heorot.

The rumor about the moster, Grendel

reached Beowulf. When he heard about this
he decidedtp kill the monster. He crossed the
sea with his warriors. He was welcomed by
Hrothgar. Were was a feast when the
midnight came. Grendel came into the hall
and ate the head of the warrior. Beowulf
stared at the back of the monster he jump at
the back of the monster and smacked the
rear of Grendel. The monster run but Beowulf
went to him and Beowulf closed the door and
his arm was ripped he went to the swamp
their he died. Grendels mother was so angry
he went to heorot to kill them. When Beowulf
was awakened he saw people hanging on the
sealing of the hall. Beowulf went to the
swamp to see if grendel is dead but he found
out the grendels mother he tried to kill her
but her beauty was so powerful. Beowulf
made loved by grendels mother. Beowulf
came back to Heorot bringing the head of
Grendel. After knowing that Grendel and his
mother were dead. King Hrothgar transferred
his all power to Beowulf .Beowulf was
proclaimed the king of the Heorot. The
dragon with his sword went to the sea at the
lowest part of the sea to kill Beowulf he tried
to control the dragon by the chain. He sliced
the dragons wing swang direct to the
dragons heart and get it.
Beowulf told the truth wilglaf that he
did not kill Grendels mother.

That same night and the same day

Beowulf was burn in the sea with the
treasure and his great became a king.
