NOTE 2: Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): An amount of EMD Rs. 4,700/- to be deposited by tenderer at the time of
quotation submitted by the tenderer in favour of "General Manager, India Government Mint, Noida" only in following
forms:

b) Fixed deposit Receipt
c) Bank Guarantee issued by Scheduled Commercial Bank of India.
NOTE 3: Security Deposit: The supplier shall furnish Security Deposit within 21 days of issue of this order in the
form of unconditional Bank Guarantee/Account Payee Demand Draft/Fixed Deposit Receipt, from any scheduled
commercial Bank of India in favour of the General Manager, India Government Mint, Noida, for 10% of the value of
the order valid upto 60 days after the date of completion of all contractual obligations by the supplier, including the
warranty obligations.
NOTE 4: Micro and Small Enterprises are eligible to get the following benefits under "Public Procurement Policy for
Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) Order 2012" as notified by the Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small &
Medium Enterprises, New Delhi vide Gazette Notification dated 26.03.2012. The major benefits allowed are as
under:
(i) Issue of tender sets free of cost,
(ii) Exemption from payment of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD),
In tender participating MSEs quoting price within price band of L1+15 per cent shall also be allowed to supply a
portion upto 20% of requirement by bringing down their price to L1 Price where L1 is non MSEs.
1) Please send your detailed quotation as per attached format by 3:00 P.M on or before 19.05.2015 in sealed
cover to India Govt. Mint, Noida (U.P). The tender will be opened on or before 19.05.2015 at 03:30 P.M.
2) Completion of supply: Firm has to supply one belt as a sample of each within 20 days from the date of issue of
purchase order. Bulk supply to be completed within 45(Forty five) days from the date of approval of sample.
3) Delivery-FOR India Govt. Mint, Noida basis including packing and forwarding but exclusive of Octroi and other
municipal taxes should be quoted.
4) Payment__ 100% on receipt and acceptance of goods by the consignee and on production of all required
documents by the supplier.
5) Envelopes containing quotations to be sealed and conspicuously marked "QUOTATION" for "CONVEYOR
BELT". Due at 3:00 P.M on 19.05.2015. Failure in compliance of above instructions may liable your quotation for
rejection.
6) If no mention is made regarding taxes, it will be presumed that your rate is inclusive of all taxes.
7) Quotation will be opened at 3:30 P.M on 19.05.2015. Suppliers or their nominees may be present at the time of
opening of the tender.
8) Envelopes not marked as (5) above are likely to be opened in the normal course.
9) Quotation should be preferably dropped in the Tender Box placed at Main Gate of Mint. However, Hand
Delivery or quotation sent by post will also be accepted.
10) Late quotation will not be considered.
11) If you are unable to offer/quote, please pass on your enquiry letter to the likely supplier under intimation to us.

12) If you have entered into Rate Contract with the DGS&D New Delhi, for the Article in question please quote
R/Contract Rate.
13) Postal delays will not be condoned on any account.
14) Quotation should be valid for 90 days from the date of opening date of quotations.
15) If supplier fails to supply the material within stipulated time, purchase may without prejudice, recover from the
supplier, as liquidated damage, not by way of penalty, the sum of @0.5% of contract price of the undelivered goods
for each, each week. The total damages shall not exceed value of 10% of undelivered goods.
16) The Purchaser reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity by 25% at any time, till final delivery date of
the contract, by giving reasonable notice even though the quantity ordered initially has been supplied in full before
the last date of Delivery Period.
17) As per the recent amendments to Schedule VI of the Companies Act 1956, companies are required to make
certain disclosure pertaining to vendors registered under Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act
2006(MSMED Act 2006). If your firm/company is registered under MSMED Act 2006, please send us a copy of the
registration certificate.
18) The General Manager, India Government Mint, Noida or his authorized representative has the right to reject any
or all tenders wholly or in part without assigning any reason.
19) In the event of quotation opening date being declared as holiday/closed day the tenders will be opened on the
next working day at appointed time & place.
20) Authorized representatives of the tenderers, who have submitted tenders on time may attend the tender
opening, provided they bring with them letters of authority as per the format in SBD XVII from the corresponding
tenderers.
Note: This enquiry letter must be returned in original along with your Tender/Quotation with clear mention of
your valid S.T/C.S.T. registration No.
