Recognition Program
Everyone has very well understood the importance of
reward and recognition but no one recognize the issues
towards the management due to uncertainty of job which
impact on their career.
The role of HR Department has to facilitate the
management to develop those policies which are effective
for the Employer and Employee as well.
Its the responsibility of HR to identify the employee
problems through proper survey and make valuable
suggestions for the organizations career.
Nowadays the modern concept of HR has to face many
obstacles and some of the main reasons of employee frustration are as under.

Reasons of Employee Frustration


As for my professional experience, I observe that money cannot be the best solution to overcome the
problem of employees, HR must encourage the association/organization to adopt Reward and
Recognition Program in the form of Appreciation Letter through email or written form, published on
company website, acknowledge his/her work, Honor of Excellence Certificate, Bonus, Thank You Note
etc.

The HR must take the responsibility and admire the management team to approve certain policies
which will be really helpful for the employees motivation in the form of financial and non-financial
incentives to do their work with dignity and responsiveness and keep a long career for the success of
their organization.

Its ajob designtechniquein whichemployeesare moved between two or morejobsin a planned
manner. Thebasic purpose is to extend theirexperiences in different fieldsand wider variety ofskillsto
enhancejob satisfactionand to cross-train them.
For Instance,If the employee is working in the same designation and job description since 3-5 years
which is a long period to circulate the activities again and again which creates dullness in his/her life.
HR must implement the term Job rotation to relocate the employee and provide a new office and
environment which seems like holding a new job, where you have to explore the work on the basis of
your experience and it will help the organization too to share your ideas for the better interest of the
organization.

Benefits of Recognition Program


The HR must design some certain parameters for the need of the employees to encourage and reward
outstanding achievements, but no one shows the interest to take any initiative act due to not appreciate
their contribution. HR must initiate the program to recognize the worth of the employee like Employee
of the Month, Appreciation Letter etc. because all the employees working in the same department but
one of them is prominent among them due to extra ordinary performance.
May be some organizations prefer to follow this program otherwise all the organizations are busy to
make the profit and never consider the worth of the employee which is actually the backbone of any
organization.

Valuable Suggestions
Appreciation it will create a great impact on employee performance in the form of thank you note or
verbal praise etc. A simple thank You or Nice work can be one of the most meaningful forms of
recognition, so we should thankful the staff for good work. Praise is an example ofday-to-day
recognition. It costs nothing and can be given by anyone, to anyone at any time.

Achievement is given to employees for accomplished the projects efficiently. Get together Lunch is
the best celebration to appreciate their work.

Overall Celebration its clear that the biggest asset of any organization is Human and without their
contribution nothing is possible. Organization must share their achievements with the whole staff and
celebrate like arranged the events & Melas to provide a healthy environment.

Recommendation
I suggest that if you want to overcome the employee problems then dont relate hierarchy formula in
organization like (Top Management rewarded 1st; Line Workers last). Its really necessary for the
management to determine the objectives and finalize the framework of the program accordingly.


The successful way is to encourage the employee by his/her assigned task given by their superiors and
after completion of work appreciated with a Thank You note verbally or written.

The role of the Modern Concept of HR has to admire the managements to make recognition a priority
because if your staff will satisfy then everything is in under control. Its a healthy activity &
challengeable task for the employees too, in this case everyone work hard on their field to achieve the
Honor and produce positive feedback for long term.

Consider e-mail and voice-mail updateson the program, on the nomination process and on the
selection of winners. This keeps the programs goals foremost in employees minds.
