RESEARCH INTEREST AT ESD LAB

The main goal of being mechanical Engineer is to take a part in a professional environment in
industry, government and academia with ever growing research, design, development,
construction, testing of energy systems. In this accordance the developments and modeling of
fuel cells for optimization of energy usage envisage in my heart for my future study. Besides this,
I always intend to devote myself to self research and study on the theoretical and computational
approach on advanced energy reserve and usage concepts where the energy is both human
friendly and economical. During my higher degree in University of Alberta under your expert
guidance, I intend to learn the ins and outs of Fabrication and experimental testing of novel
polymer electrolyte fuel cell design for low- platinum loading and research to transcend this
field. In this regard, during my undergraduate I paid particular attention on learning
thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mechanics and heat transfer comprehensively. Knowing the
significance of computer operations on the designing and controlling, I extensively learnt the
programming languages like FORTRAN, C, MATLAB and design software like AutoCAD and
Solid Works. I believe my current knowledge along with my thirst and firm motivation to
contribute in this field will help me reach to my goals.
I am highly motivated in being a member of the ESDLab, because I surmise working in a
friendly and dynamic workgroup enhance other motivations, competition and thirst to surpass
others in the group. In fact, other ongoing research and projects also intrigued me apply to work
with you at this lab. I am vastly aware that I have a lot more to know and learn. I look forward,
with a deep sense of anticipation, the opportunity to study and learn new things at ESD Lab at
University of Alberta and find out new spheres for research that are till now undiscovered. I hope
that you would find me a deserving and creditable student for any of M.Sc./PhD program with
adequate funding and scholarship in any suitable form of financial support (TA, RA etc.).
Through your support I intend to participate in national development as well as the global stream
of engineering. This personal and professional experience will further motivate the juniors of my
own current work place and contribute to researches on areas relevant to my expertise and
interest.
