Prof. Jayant Kalghatgi is an Assistant Professor in
the Dept. of Management Studies. He has a Master of Commerce degree in Accounting and Taxation from Karnatak University and a Master of Philosophy from Bharathiar University. He is currently perusing his doctorate from Bhartiar University. Sir has keen research interest in Mergers and Acquisition of Firms and its impact on Shareholders and has presented papers in regional, national and international conferences. Sir has also published his research work in reputed journals. We now invite the CUMA Coordinator to deliver the welcome address. Thank you
Dr. Jain Mathew is Professor and Head of the
Department of Management Studies. S`ir has finished his Master of Commerce in Financial Management from Mahatma Gandhi University, his Master of Philosophy in Commerce from Maduari Kamaraj University and his doctorate in Management from Bharathidasan University. He has served this institution for 25 years. Apart from numerous publications in the form of books and articles in journals, he has attended various national and international seminars and conferences. Sir has always been a leading light and a mentor for all our activities and has constantly inspired us to reach for greater heights. Sir we request you to energize the young minds here. Our associate dean, Professor Suresh Pai,
completed his Bachelors in Education from the Government College of Education, and went on to obtain his Masters in Business Administration from Delhi University. With over 40 years of work experience in the banking sector, Sir has held the positions of Deputy General Manager of Corporation Bank, where he served for 25 years and Executive Vice President of Indus Bank where he served for 15 years. Sir has trained in 2 foreign banks, namely the Manufacturers of Hanover Trust, and the Chemical Bank, both based in New York. Sir is also the Assistant Governor of Rotary District, as part of Rotary International. We request our Associate dean Prof Suresh Pai to kindly address the gathering. Thank you, Sir.
Reverend Fr.Viju P.D is Director of Admissions and
Student Affairs in Christ University. Father has completed his Bachelor of Arts from H.N.B. Garhwal University, Uttarakhand, his Master of Arts from M.G University, Kerela, his Master of Philosophy from Bharathiar University and has submitted his thesis for doctorate for the same. Apart from presenting various papers and attending conferences and seminars far and wide, father Viju has also been a part of numerous
workshops and training programmes. Father has
been a constant motivator to all of us and plays an integral role in the smooth functioning of the University. Let us now lend our ears and open our hearts to the inspirational message from our Chief Guest Thank you for the splendid message. It has truly inspired many of us.

This journey has seen us grow from the strength of a mere 30 to over 1750 students and has taken us from humble beginnings to being the best in the country.
