The first account of creation in Genesis 1 centers on the creation of the universe
and the world. It is cosmocentric in how it says that everything in the world, the
light, the sky, the oceans, the mountains, and the creatures that inhabits them were
created in 6 days. This account also shows the basis of human dignity wherein men
are created in the likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Men are given dominion of the
creations
On the second hand, the second account of creation centers on the creation of man
and woman. It shows a much detailed aspect of creation of man and woman
different from how God created everything else. In the first account, everything was
created through the materialization of the words of God but in the creation of man,
God himself had mud in His hands in order to give life to men which make us
special. Men were also made stewards of all His creation. He made men stewards
and not mere exploiters of His gifts. As stewards, men hold responsibility in
maintaining the wellness of Gods creations. Men were also ordered to multiply in
order to create communities of faith.

5 points of creation
MEANING
God is everything in creation, our creation. He is the efficient and the final cause
where we came from and where we will ultimately go back to. He is also the
material and the formal cause wherein everything we do must be directed to him
and we must always seek for Him. He is also the author of all creation, the maker of
all realities, and His only motive is his magnificent love. Creation is purely from
Gods love
CONTINUING INVOLVEMENT
We are theist; God is a loving father that looks after His creation. God created the
world and continued to look after it. God is not a watchmaker but a loving father. He
shows His love and care to the world through His Divine Providence
DOMINION

Men are stewards of the creation and not its masters. Men are not mere exploiters
of the gift of God but men have the responsibility to maintain what was created.
CREATION DOES NOT ONLY INVOLVE MATERIAL CREATION
Men are not empty living things but we have human dignity to protect and to care
about, and through creating communities of faith we can salvage human dignity
and faith. Men must also be concerned about the quality of human life the world
lives.

HUMAN DIGNITY
God created us in His likeness as basis of human dignity Genesis 1:26-27. Men have
the ability to know and love. We have freedom. Men are tasked to restore the image
of God in human dignity. In incarnation we share divine life and one Father. As St.
Irenaeus said: Homo vivens est Gloria dei The glory of God in the human fully
alive
HUMAN DEVELOPMENT
We must promote holistic human development not only economically but also
spiritually.

HUMAN WORK
Human work have dignity for it takes part on Gods creative work, both creative and
self-creating.The subjective value of the worker must be more prioritized than the
objective value of the work. Labor must be greater valued than capital
