Week of Prayer starts Monday 12th of October

Prayer is at the centre of our life together at Springfield.

Often these have been held centrally but this time
we want to embed the life of prayer
in our cells and missional communities.
Each cell and missional community will be given a set of resources
that they can base their session on.
If you don't have a cell or mission group but would like to pray
with others, please visit the church website for a list of cell groups
or speak to Will. We will publish more details of where and when
next week.

Harvest Taste & See
Parable of the sower

Welcome to our Service,

especially if you are here for the
first time today.
A crche is available after the
2nd song for under 3s in room
D1. There is also a young families
corner at the back of the main
hall.
Please do join us for tea and
coffee after the service.

Alpha
Harvest, Sunday 4th October, 10.30am
Our Taste and See next week is also our Harvest service where we will
be taking a collection of dry goods (with long expiry dates please) that
we will be donating to the Womens Refuge.
The service will have three streams for people to choose from:
Family Stream. This will be available in the main hall and is
suitable for people of all ages. We will be having an all age talk
much like we had over the summer.
Youth Stream. This will be a Rob Bell DVD with a discussion group.
Meditative Stream. This will be a reflective reading of the passage
of scripture where people can share their opinions and
understanding of the passage.
We hope this is a helpful guide; please feel free to choose the one that
fits you or your family best.

After the great success of our last Alpha course, we are

running a new one jointly with the Good Shepherd from
Thursday 1st October at 7.30 pm at the
Church of the Good Shepherd, Carshalton
This is a wonderful course for both those who
need to re-ignite their faith and for those who
are thinking about issues of faith.
We have already got a good number of
people signed up to come but obviously,
there is always room for more and you
and/or a friend.
Contact Sarah Miller or the church office to book your place.
