PRESENT EXPERIENCE

Maintenance of Power transformers (10MVA), CTs, PTs, LAs, SF6 and

Vacuum circuit breakers, VRLA batteries, HT and LT panel boards,

monthly, yearly operation reports of the substation and substation

Preparation of Permit To Work orders and performing the same as per

requirement

Involved in the erection of 66kV feeder bay (66kV Veli-TTP UG cable

feeder) at 66kV substation, Veli

Supervision, monitoring and inspection of total construction activities

carried out by contractor on site on behalf of employer in accordance
with specification, approved drawings and method statements.

Reviewing project contract documents and monitoring construction

activities to ensure compliance.

Monitoring 66 kV Substation and its machinery that distributes

electricity to residential, business and industrial areas.

Evaluating electrical tests such as ground-fault, insulation resistance,

polarity, continuity, breakdown voltage of oil and other electrical field
tests as required.

Perform the safety operation of all electrical equipment.

Co-ordination with local distribution for planned and unplanned load

shedding.

Up keeping of data log sheet and operation diary.

Checking of oil levels in equipment, temperature changes, load

conditions, oil leaks, and any irregularities. In addition, have to operate
switchboard levers to control the flow of electricity in and out of the
substations

Working closely with power generation operators and transmission

engineers in order to anticipate and solve the change in power needs.
If the power requirements change, we have to start or stop distributing
lines and switch them between the circuits.

Served as the operator in charge of taking immediate emergency

switching when power plant operators anticipate an issue in the power
distribution. Often, they also can take decisions related to power
distribution or warning power plants about potential issues regarding
power dispatch

Troubleshooting and maintenance of EBNER annealing units (37 bases,

19 heating bells), Cold Roll Slitter and Cut To Length lines (FIMI, DHIM,
DAEHYUN, GEORG), Roll Grinding Machines, Electro Discharge

Maintenance of AC & DC motors, MCC, PCC, ACBs and transformers

(2MVA)
