Justification
Our young people doesnt like to watch the new Arabic tv series, and there are more likely to
watch western tv series and Korean, especially the girls. This kind of case made me think of this
sad situation that we are living, and how the old school Arabic tv series was so attractive to us.
That's why I will talk specifically about why the current Arabic tv series doesnt attract the
audience anymore.
What are the reasons for being unsuccessful. Is it because the new generation are more open
minded, or it is just because the Arabic tv series lack something. I always wondered, why do we
repeat the same story every time, is it because we don't have creativity anymore, or is it
because we through our feelings away for the sake of money. Why we always fake everything out
on the TV's screen and make it looks exaggerating , for example showing how rich people are,
beautiful nude girls, and drug addiction. We don't see in the real life beautiful Arabic rich girls
covered her face by a full makeup and moving around in our streets. Why these directors would
do such a thing? Until now we likes the old school tv series,why?
I choose this topic because my eye is exhausted for watching this kind of works. These Arabic
works presents us as a poor group in front of whole world. It makes me angry, the directors are
changing our culture for the sake of being famous and getting money.
The group of age I am focusing on is between 14 and 35 .

Methods
1-Population
The people who Im focusing on to talk to are between 12 and 35. I started with young people
because in these days children are more opened to the world because of new technology, and
they are eager to watch the western TV series. They will help me to get some opinion .For the
older ages, I will focus more on the people who are working in the media range, because I think
that they are part of the problem that I want to fix.
2-Sampling
I will use the accidental methods to get my information. I will go to some middle schools include
Al Ta-awon school, Hamzah School. Then , I will visit Zayed university and and AbuDhaby media,
all of these areas are inside AbuDhabi.
3-Data collection
My survey is made from 25 questions including closed and opened ended questions. It will cover
the next general question Im focusing to answer. At the moment, Arabic TV series turns the
viewers away. Which is better, Arabic series or the old school. Do you think it is a technical
reason or psychological reason for not successful.

4-Presentation of results
I will count my results depending on the kind of questions that I included. I will use the equation
of the mean to get the percentage and I will do that same for the multiple choices .After I find
out the total number I will present the percentage of each respose . For the open ended
questions I will try to group them under one topic. The last step, I will list the whole answers
and border them in a way that's easy to read.
5-Ethical issues
I will get an approval to get the information for my research survey, from Al Ta-awon school,
Hamzah School, Zayed university and and AbuDhaby media . The hardest part I think is to give
the survey to the people who are working in the media range. In the end ,these people are the
most important source of information for me because they are part of my problem.

Challenges
The challenging thing is to make people fill out the survey; I believe that they will try
to run way without doing the whole thing. I will do my best to get the information for
me. I have to work so hard because people will not understand how hard the work I am
doing. It is the destiny of the researchers to do this kind of work. Finally, its better for
me to have a reason for doing this survey because the people want some answers.
