Way to approach

1. Read the question first


Consider them the road map that telling you where
to go.
2. Skim & scan passage
Go for the essence of the passage.
3. Do not get stuck at a single unfamiliar word
4. Focus on author's tone
Ex- Jovial, serious, contradictory, complaining,
sarcastic etc.
5. In case of vocabulary question
go for contextual meaning, instead of dictionary
meaning
6. In case of inference questions
do not go for option that state the passage go for
the option that implied meaning
7. in case of summery question Does time allow you to read whole passage?
Absolutely not.
So, read topic sentence & concluding sentence of
each paragraph & 2-3 sentence in between
try to make an educated guess
8. Dont use your personal opinion while answering
question
Answer question based on passage facts, opinions
etc.
