Executive compensation at transit and transportation agencies in

the Greater Toronto Area
In the Greater Toronto Area a total of nine CEOs and executive teams operate nine
different transit and transportation agencies. In Metro Vancouver, there is one.

The combined total CEO salaries of all the transit and transportation CEO
salaries in the GTA is approximately $2.1 million.

In addition to delivering public transit service to nearly one million people every
day, TransLink also manages a major road network and five bridges. TTC
and Metrolinx do not have responsibility for roads and bridges. Individual transit
agencies serve the broader GTA.

Following are details of the executive composition and compensation for MetroLinx
and the Toronto Transit Commission. Together they provide functions and a range of
transit services to their region similar to what Translink provides across Metro
Vancouver.
