NOTE: When you first turn on the Keyboard, both the Power Indicator Light and the Bluetooth
Status Indicator Light glow for 3 seconds. You cannot connect the Keyboard to your iPad until
only the Power Indicator Light glows.

3 On your iPad, tap Settings.

4 Open Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is on.

5 On the Keyboard, press the Connect Button. The Bluetooth Status Indicator Light starts
blinking.

6 The Keyboard now appears on your iPad screen. Tap Kensington Bluetooth Wireless
Keyboard.
7 Your iPad screen displays a passkey. Enter the passkey on the Keyboard, and press Enter.
8 Your iPad screen shows the Keyboard as Connected. On the Keyboard, the Bluetooth Status
Indicator Light turns off.
9 You can now use your Keyboard to type in any app.
Note the following about the Bluetooth connection between the keyboard and your iPad:
If the devices are connected and you turn the Keyboard off, the devices are still connected
when you turn the Keyboard back on. You can simply begin typing to use the Keyboard.
Likewise, if the devices are connected and you turn your iPad off, the devices are still
connected when you turn your iPad back on. You can simply begin typing to use the
Keyboard.
If the devices are connected and you turn Bluetooth off on your iPad, when you turn
Bluetooth back on, you need to connect the devices again by following the steps above.
NOTE: If the Keyboard sits idle for 15 minutes when it is connected to your iPad, the Keyboard
goes into a dormant state, and the Power Indicator Light turns off. To wake up the Keyboard,
press and hold the Connect Button for 3 seconds.

2 Insert the other end of the Charging Cable into your iPad charger.

3 Plug your iPad charger into a working outlet. The Charging Indicator Light glows red.
4 When the Keyboard is fully charged, the Charging Indicator Light turns off.

Troubleshooting
I cant connect the Keyboard to my iPad.
Try the following in sequence. You can stop when the problem is fixed.
1 Make sure you have installed and set up Bluetooth correctly on your iPad. Check the
documentation that came with your iPad for instructions.
2 Make sure that the Keyboard is within range of your iPad. Maximum Bluetooth range is
about 10 meters/33 feet.
3 If your iPad is connected to other Bluetooth devices, you may need to disconnect some
devices before you can connect to the Keyboard.
4 If you changed any Bluetooth settings on your iPad, try connecting the Keyboard to your
iPad again.
5 Make sure that both your iPad battery and the Keyboard battery are sufficiently charged.
If this does not solve the problem, please contact Kensington Support at kensington.com.

Charge the Battery

When the Charging Indicator Light glows yellow, you need to charge the Keyboard battery.
1 Insert the small end of the Charging Cable into the microUSB Charging Connector on the
Keyboard.

Connectez le clavier votre iPad

5 Sur le clavier appuyez sur le bouton de connexion. Le voyant lumineux dtat Bluetooth se

2 Mettez linterrupteur Marche/Arrt sur la position Marche. Le voyant lumineux

6 Le clavier apparat prsent sur lcran de votre iPad. Tapez sur Kensington Bluetooth
Wireless Keyboard.
7 Lcran de votre iPad affiche une cl de scurit. Entrez la cl de scurit sur le clavier puis
appuyez sur Entre.
8 Lcran de votre iPad indique que le clavier est connect. Sur le clavier, le voyant lumineux
dtat Bluetooth steint.
9 Vous pouvez maintenant utiliser votre clavier pour taper dans une application.
Notez les points suivants concernant la connexion Bluetooth entre le clavier et votre iPad :
Si les dispositifs sont connects et que vous mettez le clavier hors tension, ils restent
connects lorsque vous mettez de nouveau le clavier sous tension. Il vous suffit de
commencer taper pour utiliser le clavier.
De mme, si les dispositifs sont connects et que vous mettez votre iPad hors tension, ils
restent connects lorsque vous mettez de nouveau votre iPad sous tension. Il vous suffit de
commencer taper pour utiliser le clavier.
Si les dispositifs sont connects et que vous dsactivez Bluetooth sur votre iPad, lorsque
vous activez de nouveau Bluetooth, vous devez reconnecter les dispositifs en suivant les
tapes ci-dessus.
REMARQUE : si le clavier nest pas utilis pendant 15 minutes alors quil est connect votre
iPad, il entre en tat de veille et le voyant lumineux dalimentation steint. Pour que le clavier
quitte ltat de veille, appuyez sur le bouton de connexion et maintenez-le enfonc pendant
3 secondes.

Chargez la batterie
REMARQUE : lorsque vous mettez le clavier sous tension pour la premire fois, le voyant
lumineux dalimentation et le voyant lumineux dtat Bluetooth sallument pendant 3
secondes. Vous ne pouvez pas connecter le clavier votre iPad tant que le voyant lumineux
dalimentation est allum.

Lorsque le voyant lumineux de chargement sallume en jaune, vous devez charger la batterie
du clavier.
1 Insrez la petite extrmit du cble de chargement dans le connecteur de chargement
micro-USB du clavier.

3 Sur votre iPad, tapez sur Rglages.

4 Ouvrez Bluetooth et vrifiez que Bluetooth est activ.

2 Insrez lautre extrmit du cble de chargement dans le chargeur de votre iPad.

3 Branchez le chargeur de votre iPad dans une prise de courant. Le voyant lumineux de
chargement sallume en rouge.
4 Lorsque le clavier est totalement charg, le voyant lumineux de chargement steint.

Dpannage
Je ne peux pas connecter le clavier mon iPad.
Suivez la procdure ci-dessous. Vous pouvez linterrompre lorsque le problme est rsolu.
1 Vrifiez que vous avez install et configur Bluetooth correctement sur votre iPad.

2 Vrifiez que le clavier se trouve dans la porte de votre iPad. La porte Bluetooth maximale
est denviron 10 mtres.
3 Si votre iPad est connect dautres dispositifs Bluetooth, il se peut que vous deviez

4 Si vous avez modifi des rglages Bluetooth sur votre iPad, essayez de connecter de
nouveau le clavier votre iPad.
5 Vrifiez que la batterie de votre iPad et celle de votre clavier sont suffisamment charges.

Beachten Sie bezglich der Bluetooth-Verbindung zwischen Ihrer Tastatur und Ihrem iPad
Folgendes:
Wenn die Gerte verbunden sind und Sie die Tastatur ausschalten, sind die Gerte weiterhin
verbunden, wenn Sie die Tastatur erneut einschalten. Sie knnen einfach beginnen, Text
ber die Tastatur einzugeben.
Wenn die Gerte verbunden sind und Sie das iPad ausschalten, sind die Gerte weiterhin

Fehlerbehebung
Ich kann die Tastatur nicht mit meinem iPad verbinden.

Het toetsenbord aansluiten op uw iPad

1 Breng de toetsenbordhoes om uw iPad aan.

2 Zet de aan-uit-schakelaar op Aan. Het indicatorlampje voor de voeding gaat branden.

OPMERKING: wanneer u het toetsenbord voor de eerste maal inschakelt, gaan zowel het
indicatorlampje voor de voeding als het indicatorlampje voor de Bluetooth-status branden.
U kunt uw toetsenbord pas aansluiten op uw iPad als het indicatorlampje voor de voeding
brandt.
3 Tik op uw iPad op Instellingen.

5 Druk op het toetsenbord op de aansluittoets. Het indicatorlampje voor de Bluetooth-status

gaat knipperen.

6 Het toetsenbord wordt nu weergegeven op uw iPad-scherm. Tik op Kensington Bluetooth

Wireless Keyboard (Kensington Bluetooth-toetsenbord voor iPad).
7 Op uw iPad-scherm wordt een code weergegeven. Typ de code in op het toetsenbord en
druk op Enter.
8 Op uw iPad-scherm wordt uw toetsenbord nu als aangesloten aangegeven. Op het
toetsenbord gaat het indicatorlampje voor de Bluetooth-status uit.
9 U kunt uw toetsenbord nu bij elke toepassing gebruiken.

Problemen opsporen
