Letter From the Exalted Ruler

Fellow Elks,
September was a busy month. We had Elks fall convention and co-hosted a
hospitality room with Sapulpa and Ada lodges. The YETI ice chest raffle was
a huge success! I would like to thank Braden and Justin for smoking the pork
for convention, there was absolutely none left, and Shaun, Gene, Mike and
Darla for all the help. We also had Margaritaville and had great turn out.
This month, October 31st, for the kids we are having trunk or treat from 4PM6PM and following that will be a BBQ dinner. We will be smoking a whole hog
and the Enid boys are smoking two cases of ribs for us. If anyone would like to
donate candy for the kids it would be appreciated. The lodge roof will be completed this month! We will be having a work day this month, if you are interested in helping, stop by and see what needs to be done. As always, I would
like to thank all the members for continually helping with steak night, bartending, fundraisers and general maintenance and repairs at the lodge. This
place wouldnt be what it is without all of the members. I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events and as always at the lodge.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE
Please come and join me on Saturday, October 10th at 6:30 pm for a Celebration of Life Party to celebrate the life of our passing sister Linda Oliver. Linda was taken home on Friday the 25th of September at 7:42 pm. Linda did
not want a funeral. She wanted to have a party, so I will give her one last
party. She wanted us to all get together and talk about the happy fun times,
tell stories & lies and have a few drinks on her. So please come join me in celebrating her life!
