SCS Super Compact Clamp

New machining technologies and manufacturing

methods call for the development of new solutions
in the field of clamping technology.
The SCS Super Compact Clamp, with its short
base and easy movement of the fixed jaw, is
ideally suited for 5-side machining.
The well balanced design of the guide between
the base and the moveable jaw is very important
for the use of very high clamping jaws, which are
essential for performing machining operations
close to the workpiece.
The base is made from special cast steel which
guarantees high rigidity and dimensional stability.
All sides are hardened and ground, providing a
reliable basis for meeting the exacting demands
for maximum precision.

A high degree of flexibility and large clamping ranges are achieved by using reversible fine step
jaws proposed with various jaw widths. Regardless of the clamping range, 5-side machining close
to the workpiece is possible.
