If the low tack mat does not work for this, use the standard mat.
Some of the white core may show after cutting. Try adjusting the speed down a little.
On each of three additional cuts, increase the blade depth by two, i.e. second pass would be 4 etc.

These are the settings if using the high tack fabric support sheet from Brother.
Peel off backing from heat fusible backings before placing on the sticky mat.
Place fabric face down. Why not try drawing on the paper before you fuse it, then scan and cut?!
These are the settings if starching and using Stick and Spray (for fabric) to attached to standard mat.
Use Heat N Bond Lite to stabilise before cutting.
You should use a heat fusible backing.
