RECRUITMENT OF MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a subsidiary of ONGC and a Mini Ratna Company, is focused on efficiency and
growth. The company is recognized today as the leading refinery in India in terms of all round performance, having won many awards
in Encon, Safety, Quality, Exports etc. The company is executing an Expansion & Upgradation Project, at an estimated cost of about $
2.0 Billion and an Aromatics Project, on behalf of ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Ltd., at an estimated cost of $ 1.2 Billion. Other

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
The period of experience will be determined up to 31/05/2009. Experience shown should be the minimum post-qualification experience
after obtaining necessary qualification up to 31/05/2009 including On the Job training period.

Eligible Indian Nationals must apply with complete information enclosing photocopies of original certificates, proof of age,
educational qualification, experience and Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC categories only) and the Demand Draft with a
recent passport size photograph.
Candidates called for interview for all the above posts shall be reimbursed airfare by Economy class from their
correspondence address in India on production of tickets and boarding pass by the shortest route. Those who are travelling
from nearby places will be reimbursed II AC rail fare for executive positions (Sl. No. 1, 2 & 3) and II Class rail fare / actual
fare for others including travel by ordinary bus on production of tickets from their correspondence address by the shortest
route.
In case large numbers of applications are received, Management reserves the right to call the candidates possessing better
experience profile/ higher percentage of marks only.
Reservation of posts for SC / ST/ OBC (Non-creamy layer) / PH and relaxation thereof as per Government Directives.
Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC: 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC. Physically Challenged candidates shall get age
relaxation of 10 years.
Experience in PSU/ Private needs to be specified.
Requests for change of mailing address/category/discipline once declared in the application will not be entertained.
Persons employed in Government or Semi-government Organizations/Public Sector Undertakings should submit their
applications through proper channel. Advance copy may be sent. However, they will be required to produce NOC at the time
of interview.
The number of posts indicated are tentative which may increase or decrease in the relevant categories at the absolute
discretion of the Management.
The Pay scale given is as per PSU scale and is likely to be revised upwards. Allowances / other benefits are also being
aligned in line with downstream Oil companies.
Satisfactory Character/ Antecedents report would be required once selected and the Management reserves the right to outrightly dismiss the candidate whose report is not found satisfactory.
Personal appraisals duly certified, would be required for last 5 years, once selected.
Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidature.
Incomplete applications or those where Demand Draft as specified above is not enclosed, will be summarily rejected and no
correspondence will be entertained from the candidate(s) not short listed for the interview.
The application fee will not be returned/refunded due to any reasons, what so ever. MRPL will not be responsible for any
