some courses relating to Food and Working Safety. Especially, I got the level 2 Award in Food
Safety in Catering during the period working at the University of Nottingham as Catering Assistant.

2. (Essential to the job)
Experience of dealing with customers
Please provide detailed evidence of how you meet this requirement of the role. This information
will be used when deciding who will be invited to interview.
I had been working in Nightingale Hall as catering assistant for 1 year. It not only led me to
familiarize with Food Preparation and Pot wash, It also gave me opportunities to deal with
customers (hall residents) when they had some queries about food and the service. In some
complicated cases, I had to ask my colleagues' support, especially my team leader, my chief and I
learned a lot from these cases.
Additional Information
Dear Sir/Madame,
I am very delighted when studying again at The University of Nottingham for 4 years at PhD level
where I had nice memories. I had opportunity to work at Nightingale Hall which is not only
supported my living cost, also brought many lovely friends to me. With the experiences of working
as catering assistant for one year, I hope I can be accepted again. I will try my best to finish my duty
at the best.
Thanks and best regards,
Hung Nguyen.
